Maggie is leaving I believe by end of season 9, if not season 9, early season 10. There will be a need for someone to step up for Hilltop maybe that's Aaron, but he doesn't seem like a alpha leader. Daryl spends more time a Hilltop maybe it's him with Aaron trying to reign in Daryl's impulsive nature.
Or they're taking the new convict chick up there to replace Maggie.

Probably is a good call.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
Quote:The Walking Dead’s Season 9 mid-season finale was officially the lowest rated mid-season finale in series history.
Per Variety, Sunday’s “Evolution” episode netted 5.1 million viewers and a 2.0 Nielsen rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic. This is down from Season 8’s mid-season finale, which brought in 7.9 million viewers and a 3.4 rating: this marks a 35% decrease in total viewers, and 41% decrease in the demographic.
The highest mid-season finale ratings are held by the Season 5 episode, which brought in 14.8 million viewers, and earned a 7.6 rating.

OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
Surprised this hasn't been bumped the last 2 weeks. I think the whisperer arc has gone really well so far. The set up of the "walkers evolving" for the big reveal was great, how they couldn't lose the herd and even Daryl couldn't turn it. Can't believe it was jesus and not Aaron. For any comic readers I wonder how they do the fence with how much has changed in the show.

I am trying to get caught up. What did mishone do that's pissed everyone off? Or have they not revealed that or maybe I accidentally skipped a episode.

Thx. That's what i figured but wanted to make sure. Watched the last 2 episodes and they've been the best 2 in quite some time. It's kind of like a new show now.

In one of the previews for the second half of the season Michonne has her old hair so I'm sure were getting some flashbacks of what happened with Maggie and whats up with the x scars on their backs.

Agree, since the time jump it's been much better.

Saw speculation about Aaron, saying the show runner is re-making him into Rick 2.0, more like the comic from the missing arm to the beard. The fight training he got from Jesus could mean he's going to take Rick's story ARC for the whisper's. It's almost a lock Henry will take Carl's arc, critical to the Whispers was Carl's relationship with the daughter of the leader, can't believe that would get written out of the tv series. Speculation Dwight may return as well since he had a pivotal role in the battle with the whispers.

I think this is all very possible. In the preview for the next episode, it shows a girl in the "jail" cell, similar to how they locked up Lydia in the comics.

This looks to be the case.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
If anyone is into zombie shows (and judging by 132 pages for this thread, I'd say there is a good chance there are), I recommend Kingdom on Netflix. It's Korean and takes places about 130 years, but it's seriously good. The zombies only come out at night (they 'sleep' during the day). Watch it in Korean with subtitles - you'll thank me later.

My wife laughed as she walked by last night and it was on. She said "this show is still on!?" That being said I actually enjoyed these 2 episodes.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
There's going to be a massacre at some point if the show follows the comic, which main characters will get the proverbial ax? Will Negan take the story arc meant for Dwight, or will we see Dwight return?
I know it's a show about zombies so you already give lots of discretion as far as story line, but I found it a little hard to believe, Alpha a relatively average sized woman was able to kill a healthy young man who looked a little bigger than her.

While the show runners willingness to kill of main characters keeps the show fresh and separates it enough from the comic to prevent complete predictability a lot of fan favorites have bit the dust over the las two seasons. The zombie genre might be getting old, but fan loyalty also depends on returning characters people like, right now the only one that fits that bill is Daryl.

Is he the only original group member left?
