Keep behaving in the same positive manner, and the committee may be inclined to consider America East.

Overall between UConn, UC, Temple, Memphis, Houston, and Wichita (thats the correct ranking of our top programs) we have 6 very solid programs. As long as those 6 are on and the other 6 don't suck this is a major conference.
Well the last time UC was in a championship game was in 1963 (55yrs ago). We were in two in 1973 and 2008.
You can't dismiss their titles in 61 and 62, but that's been 56 years ago. I'd give UC the nod for #2, but it's closer than you think.

The stat I saw on ESPN that I couldn't believe. Tonight was UConn's first win vs a top 15 team since the 2014 final 4.

You got it minus 48. They went to one final four since 1963. ONE! Their glory was between 1959 and 1963. Now there's a ringing endorsement. Was Wichita even a city back then?

Memphis only has one final four, and that was from 1973. Stop trying to discredit Cincy's history by calling it ancient. Its a weak argument. They're tied for 13th in NCAAT appearances. They're one of only 15 schools with multiple championships. Who cares when it happened. Its still part of their history. Plus they've been better than Memphis recently anyway.

No clue.
It's like the same 8 posters chasing each other around in every thread lol!
Lastly, it's 3 Final Fours.
When the NCAA Takes away Syracuse 03 title. Vacates decades worth of UNCheats accomplishments, takes away Kansas' 08 title they won since Darell Arthur should have also be ineligible to play the 07-08 season. There was actual proof he should have been ineligible. Cal cheated at Memphis but using the exact same tactics, bag men, and resources he's not cheating at UK? NCAA won't even dare look into them now. Not to mention all the stuff UCLA used to pull during their run and countless other programs that have done way worse. I don't see how anyone takes anything the NCAA does at this point seriously. They are a corrupt organization that will do everything in their power to try and look like that are actually doing something by punishing lower programs while protecting the bigger ones. If the FBI is any indication a lot of these top programs have been blatantly getting away with anything they have wanted too for a very long time. NCAA didn't know? BS. They knew.
3 final fours still isn't amazing, but it's what we have actually been too. Competed in, won and lost. We have played for 2 National Titles. I can look the games up right now and watch them again and see we were actually there.
It's all irrelevant anyway. No one cares what anyone did on the national stage unless your name is Duke, Kentucky, UCLA, Indiana, UNC, Kansas and maybe a couple of others. UConn doesn't even get the respect it not only deserves but has EARNED by having 4 titles since 1999.

Yah, you got me. I'm a sex toy. Your mom knows me well.

The Shockers are experiencing growing pains by being in a better league playing better competition.
Hopefully they can play up to there expectations they had prior to joining our league sadly it hasn't been happening

Congrats to UCF and particularly UConn. The Huskies won the game in a convincing fashion and it was no fluke.
WSU had a disappointing outcome, but will improve under Marshall during the course of the season. I remain very pleased WSU upgraded the AAC by joining last year.

Not all to say this isn't a better league .. it is by far. BUT. We would have had the same growing pains in the MVC except probably worse. We still would have had 9 newcomers but they might not have been as high of quality. There is plenty of talent on this team to compete in the AAC with Marshall leading them. They just need to find their roles and gain confidence. Right now they are relying too much on McDuffie and SHJ and those two don't always make the best decisions when they feel pressured.
