kz is coming back. 5-10, 185 QBs don't leave early. at his height his body needs to be fully matured to give himself the best shot at cutting it in the nfl. another 15 lbs in the offseason heading into his senior year would put him in good stead.

A rule change is needed to prevent fake injuries, but it is tricky given the new era of enhanced player safety.
I think in the spirit of player safety, any player too injured to make it to the sideline on their own, needs to stay on the sidelines for 4:00 of game clock for observation.
I’d say 2 minutes, but then what they’ll do is sub someone 2nd team in just to take a dive or have a designated dive man.

UCF better just accept that this tactic will be used the remainder of the season against them. And if Temple does it I will be all for it.

There should be some type of disincentive for doing this. Won't happen this season so we just have to live with it.

On a completely unrelated note, who’s your best OOC win?
pitt is awful. and he's right- our last 2 OOC schedules have been pathetic.
17-0.
you're kind of making my point. 17-0 and still no shot at making the playoff. unless we're complacent with having zero chance at the playoff before the season even starts it's time to adjust our scheduling policy
You aren’t wrong but you realize we could have scheduled UF and FSU a few years ago and thought we had our OOC locked up and gotten to 2018 and had people say meh?
Our fight is that this is one division and if schedules are an issue than the playoff isn’t big enough or the division is too big. Your standards are too low if you are pulling the “Boise Bendover” when the committee says “you did your best here’s a secondary prize.”
Honestly, at this point UCF isn’t even playing for a playoff. We are playing to separate ourselves enough to become a safe expansion choice for a P5 league like Utah and TCU were

The Big12 needs to re-look. I suspect within 3-5 years UCF will be in a better spot. Either the Big12 is disintegrating or they have got UT/OU firmed up and are looking to expand. Several others like USF, Cincy, UConn and Memphis all need to be ready to say Yes under either scenario.
USF needs an On Campus stadium like yesterday. Same with Temple. Pitt can crow about all the benefits of being with the Steelers but they are missing something.

what sucks about the "cramping" is that the game is delayed for 4-5 minutes everytime. IT was so hot and after Pitt faked cramps 7-8 times thats an additional 30 minutes or more in the blazing sun for the fans. Thats what pissed me off the most.

It happens against us all the time. Besides your valid point about the delays...it also causes fans to boo actual legit injuries now.
If a defensive player is tired...they just fall down now against the up tempo offenses.

The best is when their training staff came out and looked confused as to what they were actually supposed to do. Then they remembered that they're "treating a cramp" and would stretch for a few seconds, before the player runs off the field perfectly fine.
The only way to stop this nonsense is to make it a requirement that any player treated on the field must sit out the next 5 plays or something.

I'm starting to think that going to the Big12 would not be the ideal landing spot for any of us. Not sure if anyone was paying attention last time, but as soon as any of us make it to the Big12, biggest market teams will leave, it will lose its playoff opportunity, and be CUSA 3.0.
With that being said, I guess I'd rather be here in the Big East (cough) with you guys than still in CUSA. Looking forward to facing off with you guys in the National Athletic Conference, formerly known as the Big12.

What made that attempt to injury even worse...that was early in the 1st Q...as that game and UCF's season could have come crashing down if Milton got injured because of this punk.
