I picked up on that also but most of the eyeballs watching this game tonight are going to be rooting for FAU. Because:

A) UCF is ranked
B) ESPN and the SEC doesn’t want any kind of a repeat of last year. They want all the G5 with a loss.

If UCF wins out, which includes a few ranked conference wins there is a very low chance of making the playoff.

UCF needed a matchup against a ranked OOC opponent to really crack the playoff talk.

but it normally isnt this obvious, this feels like im watching a team based radio braodcast. the color guy is so biased. i honestly think he isnt cool with the national championship claim but doesnt want to make it obvious

it was very evident by the trick play a the end of half by fau....
fau sets up a very bad trick play, the qb gets hit when the ball is thrown and he throws it right to a ucf defender, who flat out drops it

his commentary was that it could have been a big play for fau if the qb could have stepped into the throw....not that it was almost a big play for ucf with the drop easy pass

I wouldn't say that, but it does look like Lane Kiffin's play calling is favoring FAU. UCF gets the 2nd half return, let's see if they woke up, they certainly looked like it on that last 63 second scoring drive.

Also game to note is #10 Penn St starts at 8:00 CT. Obviously rooting for them to lose and UCF win.
