Previous meeting: 33-29 UCF (Sep 13th, 2003)
The 2-0 Knights are looking to improve to 3-0 after a week off due to the effects of Hurricane Florence. Florida Atlantic (2-1) comes into Orlando following an 11-3 season in which they were crowned Conference USA (C-USA) Champions. This clash of conference champions is sure to be one of the marquee matchups of the week.

Hopefully a good game. Certainly a tough match up and if we play like we played against BCU your gonna hand us our arses. Not coming up for the game as I had work issues to deal with but I'll be home rooting for my owls.

CJH will unshackle MM and return to designed run plays which makes the offense truly deadly. He totally eliminated even the option for MM to run last game and it messed with the flow of the offense bigly.
I expect the offense to score and score a lot. We'll see how the defense goes.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the ankle was bothering him. Getting the week off, while it sucked, may have been great for MM.

This is cool watching UCF! I almost forgot what it was like to see an offense that doesn't kick it's own butt. Or a Qb who can execute plays at a high level.
Bonus FYI: When you watch Tulsa's offense and see the players stick their heads up their own butts at the start of each play don't worry. That's just normal. It's usually followed by a player walking over to a defensive player and politely handing the ball to them.
