And anybody with average intelligence and ability to use google, would know it is called the Fertitta Center after the billionaire UH donor Tilman Fertitta who owns Landrys Inc.
It is getting to the point where WSU fans have to make every thread somehow about them on here. There like a mobile home in a middle-class neighborhood. The owner of the mobile home puts a new coat of paint on it and thinks it such an improvement to the neighborhood. Yet the neighbors still see the mobile home as an eyesore, and to make it worse there always keggers going on at the mobile home and it is always noisy well into the night. A bunch of residences can't wait for the real estate market to get better so they can sell their homes and get away from the noisy neighbor and his mobile home.
I would equate UH to the neighbor who use to be well off, but lost a fortune in a bad investment deal. The neighbor had to go into bankruptcy and nearly loss the house. Yet the neighbor worked hard and got back on track, and recently started a remodel of the home now they are back in financial stability.
To take the comparison further, then UCF would be the young, professional go-getter who would put in 100 hour work weeks, never take a day off, buy a small, modest home, and then here and there over time renovate and improve it while keeping an eye towards the future b/c he knows that "keeping up with the Jones's" is foolhardy.
And to take this comparison even further, USF would be the rich kid trust fund case who gets a bunch of money he didn't earn, goes out and acts like a big shot, spits on everyone else, and then ends up overpaying on rent for a place from someone else b/c he didn't have the foresight to look ahead that will ultimately prevent them from having something to call their own but hey, they had a bunch of money in their pocket for one whole week back in 2007!
Who says we don't have rivalries in this conference?
Oh yeah and Wichita sucks. . .
So does Houston. . .
Not much of a SMU fan either. .
There is a difference between rivalry, and a deranged obsession with a school you didn't attend... to where you literally can't stop talking about them...
the UH and WSU rivalry has great chance to developed if both teams stay in the top half of the league and remain competitive with each other.

Shows 4 rows of student seats right on the court.
Holy crap your tickets are cheap ... Courtside is literally the same price including required donation for my corner court, 31 rows up (3 from the top) tickets in CKA.

Well due to no fault but our own we are rebuilding our brand and by default our fanbase.
We are following a similar plan to what we did with football 5-6 years ago.
The prices will increase (granted I am sure they will still be well on the mid to lower end....) as time goes by as they have with football.

Well no one better use the "it costs too much" excuse ... especially with the quality of product that's been on the floor.

Those are just the season ticket costs. To sit on the floor, you have to donate $50K per seat. And the floor seats are sold out.
Expensive enough for you?

Hmm I was going off the required commitment listed at that link... which was 500 per seat plus 500 ticket cost.
Either way. That's still relatively cheap

Come on man. All the baseline seats require an arena donation. From $25K to $15K to $10K to $7.5K for the side with club access. The other side ranges from $1000 to $2500.
None of these required arena donations are listed on the 3D site. It only shows annual costs.
