There were media and alumni tours to Fertitta Center(previously the Hoff) the past couple days. Due to Harvey construction is behind schedule. Originally the arena was supposed to be ready in November but now they are saying it will open in December. So we will have to have a few home games at TSU next year to start the season. It also was announced the capacity of Fertitta center will be around 7100. From the pictures taken there was a complete gutting of the old Hoff. I am having issues posting the pics and videos from Twitter, so I have pasted the links.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for Sampson to go on a butt-kicking tour at the beginning of next year. I can’t imagine TSU games give Houston a huge revenue boost. Just get a bunch of home and homes started. Schools are always more willing to agree to them if they get to start at home.
Dirt Floors huh? Trying to make it double as a Rodeo? :)
Student section seems pretty small.

Will be interesting to see what the finished product looks like.
I can't approve something I can't pronounce. I will call it "The Tit" from here on out.

Hopefully another UH fan can post the rendering pics of the arena on here. I already failed to post the links correctly.
Looks like portions of it are going to be bounce house style erector set bleachers.

The renderings don't really do it justice, but it sure looks like it will be a great place....

The student section is quite small - it’s those strange looking people standing up in front of that red wall on the right side of the court

Love the Pixar simulated Coog fans added to the TiT for effect. They can recycle that pic for years on the 5 O'Clock news.
