I didn't call her a provacateur. I called her a wannabe provocateur. She's too inexperienced to be a master of the art, but if she can keep up her fans and haters AND if she can pick up some substance and insight, she might be decent at it in a decade.

But that doesn't mean she and people like her should have this happen to them. But, no matter where you stand on any issue, if you're famous enough somebody is going to try you. It's why celebrities carry around security.

I don't know why he always has to temper everything he says (like other "principled conservatives", it's like he's afraid to win), but the latest poll obviously ISN'T the outlier, because it is most reflective of the current temperature/trends. It's the older polls of the rolling average that are the outliers, and the newer polls (as they come out) will prove that to be true.
