I'm starting to think that unless some sort of miracle recruit drops in our lap, that the freshmen will be our best inside option, even if we do land the LSU guy. (which I hope we do) I realize he had a great rep coming out of high school, but a guy who averages two points a game in college and hasn't played for a year may not be the star player we need. He might start, or he might not. It doesn't seem like it would be a lock though. I'm hoping the freshmen come in and are even better than advertised. We need some Rookie of the Year type talent down low.

Tell that to Nick King. =]

Best case scenario: We get Robinson who stays healthy and plays like a 4-star Center, AND we get Rookie of the Year performance from one of our two freshmen.

There is a big difference between an athletic guy who is maybe a bit undersized to play at the power conference level, but has the talent to be really good at the CUSA level, and a 7'1 dude who couldn't get on the court at LSU and is plagued by constant injuries.

Yeah, Im not expecting him to amount to much. Not the type of player I would be looking for.

Our savior scored 2 points a year on an awful LSU team.

Just end this torture now and bring in a vibrant young coach that can recruit and restore energy to the program.

The next Keats/Stevens/Shaka (should I go on) is out there, we just have to go out and find him.

Unfortunately, I trust wood to make our hire even less than I trust jones to get us back to the NCAA tourney next year.

Myself, I wouldn't mind getting a 7 foot former LSU player and a 6'10" JUCO former UTEP player. IF that were to happen it would be sweet.
