I love this team. Blue collar, Workman like, not flashy, don’t give up .
Besides that one game which I won’t mention, we are just doing whatever it takes to win.

We have a SQUAD! Top to bottom. Caver and Stith are like the shiny red paint on the outside of the car and folks like Carver, Wade, Dickens, Green, Kithcart and Zip are the gears. Last night, Carver 13 rebounds, Wade career high in points, Dickens FIVE blocks and Green with outstanding defense on their star player.

This team reminds me of some of the great Monarch teams of the past, couple stars and lots of others doing the little things.

Let’s keep the foot on the pedal in this shiny Monarch sedan! Let’s go get Charlotte and see where we end up.

We may or may not make it to the promised land but as of right now I’m proud of these guys for doing whatever it takes to get the W’s.

Great posts Mac. Also, let's not forget the job our coaching staff has done. We may not be pretty at times but the coaching staff seems really focused on having our team prepared to play with a solid game plan. It seems as though Jones is willing to push more buttons ( playing zone, substitutes, etc) than in years past. I guess some of that is because he has more depth and talent on this team. We seem to be able to match up with whatever most any type of game our opponent plays. Now let's finish this season in good fashion.

I think a good thing about our squad is that every game someone proves to be that 3 scorer behind caver and BJ. Whether is Kithcart, Xavier, Dickens, Ezikpe, Wade or Godwin (when healthy) someone is stepping up. Watch out if we can get them all playing well at the same time.

Love sweeping that UAB-MTSU road trip. Even though neither team is the caliber of what they have been, that's still a tough feat. Not many can do that.

Coming together at the right time, go to scorers, and a lot of depth. I have more confidence that this team can win the tournament than any of JJ's teams so far.
