I'm late to the party here, but curious if you have any more details. Were these complaints from UNCW fans, or UNCW players? I attended much of the 2013 CAA Tournament at JMU and never had the impression that stadium staff was lacking. Among my recollections:

- dismal attendance (fans numbering in the dozens for many of the non-JMU games)
- being surprised that we had usher-types of staff tracking down foul balls
- many UNCW fans sitting outside the stadium beyond LF, I assume because they were boozing

I plan to attend some of both the 2018 CAA Baseball Tournament in Harrisonburg and the ACC Baseball Tournament down the road in Durham this year.

It was the week leading up to the event UNCW posters with connections to their program were bent out of shape. They were happy hosting in Wilmington & upset it was moved to begin with. Apparently, we sent out a plea to the other participating schools begging for volunteer help. I'm sure we managed to operate the tourney without too much trouble, but the UNCW fans couldn't believe that there weren't enough staff/volunteers already lined up.

On the eve of the start to the Diamond Dukes season opener at High Point, hopefully JMUsports.com will put out something (anything!) about the DD's today. I'm interested to see what our starting weekend rotation will be. At times, it makes you wonder if we even have a baseball program. JMUsports.com has had exactly ONE! news item about the Diamond Dukes since mid-November. Sad.

The midweek game next Tuesday at Liberty will be streamed live via ESPN-3.

Weather for HPU this weekend looks really good for the opener Friday. A brief shower on Saturday should not cause too many problems, but Sunday might see the teams move up the start of the game as some steady rain appears will be moving in around noon.

Ikenberry shed light on the rotation during Tuesday’s press conference at O’Neills. This looks like a “Produce or get fired season.” No JMU team in the post season tourney at Harrisonburg would be enough. Gotta win conference games.

They may have fallen to sleep. The boys look way too comfortable.

Good guys win 3 - !.

Though, we allowed 8 hits to our 2 and they stranded 11 base runners, we stranded 2. They had 3 errors to our 1. We were fortunate, but a win is a win.

Good Guys win 3-1. Pitching was terrific. Harlow pitched a gem and Colon picked right up when he went out.
