You could say the exact same thing about illegal immigration but that doesn't stop you guys from doing everything in your power to prevent it.
So suggest something fit...
What would have stopped this instance considering the kids was breaking two laws just having the gun.
More security guards? Metal detectors? How about a giant wall?

You have to be kidding right? You just typed it yourself "ILLEGAL" immigration. What is wrong with trying to prevent illegal activities?
There is nothing wrong with trying to stop illegal immigration. What's wrong with trying to stop illegal killing?
Want the truth?
You can't if you want to live in a free society. There are inherent dangers living in a free society.

A wall. Nice. A joke...Unless you are on the Aspergers spectrum, you have a very ****** up sense of when its appropriate to make jokes relating to dead kids.

There's steps that can be taken to reduce murders and shootings.
Like this complex step that the Trump administration is doing while the Obama administration refused.........enforcing the gun laws we already have on the books.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavli...s-n2361412
Quote:During the Obama administration prosecutions of federal gun law violations dropped by nearly 30 percent. Since February, the Trump administration has already turned those numbers around.
According to the Justice Department, led by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, federal gun prosecutions are up by 23 percent in 2017 compared to last year.
"Following President Trump’s Executive Order to focus on reducing crime, I directed federal prosecutors to prioritize taking illegal guns off of our streets, and as a result, we are now prosecuting hundreds more firearms defendants," Sessions released in a statement Friday. "In the first three months since the memo went into effect, charges of unlawful possession of a gun – mostly by previously convicted felons – are up by 23 percent. That sends a clear message to criminals all over this country that if you carry a gun illegally, you will be held accountable. I am grateful to the many federal prosecutors and agents who are working hard every day to make America safe again.”
President Trump signed an executive order in February directing the Department of Justice to bolster the laws on the books in order to reduce crime in cities across the country. Sessions followed up with a memo to all of the agencies under his jurisdiction at DOJ and demanded laws already on the books be rigorously enforced.
Too early to tell if it's making a difference but one would have to either be ignorant or a partisan fool to not acknowledge that every arrest and conviction made with this push is a step in the right direction.

Am all for steps in the right direction. How about more funds for security guards, surveilence systems, gun education?

non sequiter...
One is the attitude you take towards people who are not doing anything illegal until the moment they commit a crime (killing)
The other is the posture you take towards people who have committed a crime just being here (illegally immigrate)

When are we going to hold the school systems responsible? We are required by law to send our kids there. Shouldn't they be required by law to protect them.
When are we going to hold parents responsible?

RE: Kentucky school shooting: 2 dead, 12 more shot at Marshall County High School
Its a class D felony in KY punishable by up to 5 years if anyone acted recklessly with wanton disregard for human life and that allowed a kid to acquire a gun. Intent is not required. Its a class D felony in KY punishable by up to 5 years if anyone provides a handgun to someone under the age of 21.
If the facts come out that any of these fit, there will be charges. If not, there won't.

No. It's definitely sad news.
Care to postulate on how you you can totally prevent it??
You can't totally prevent it just like you can't totally prevent illegal immigration but that doesn't stop conservatives from trying everything in the book.
If only they had as much hatred for children getting shot as they did for brown people.
I have to say, you are really on to us conservatives. I often lay awake at night just thinking about how much I hate brown people.
