You want to hold the school responsible also? The Janitor, Football coach, Math teacher? What crime did the "school" commit?

Nope.

I would think that the schools have a duty and a responsibility to protect and to provide security for the children in their charge. Am I crazy for thinking this way? A shooting occurs on school property and no one asks if they had proper security. It's almost like they get a free pass.

No. It's definitely sad news.

Care to postulate on how you you can totally prevent it??

You can't totally prevent it just like you can't totally prevent illegal immigration but that doesn't stop conservatives from trying everything in the book.

If only they had as much hatred for children getting shot as they did for brown people.

I have to say, you are really on to us conservatives. I often lay awake at night just thinking about how much I hate brown people.

When are we going to hold the school systems responsible? We are required by law to send our kids there. Shouldn't they be required by law to protect them.

When are we going to hold parents responsible?

Amazing isn't it. Not a day goes by without someone blaming a teacher for their kids problems.

Where's Fits outrage and concern over the hundreds of kids shot in democrat run cities like Chicago and Memphis?

Well, that's their narrative and they're sticking to it.

You could say the exact same thing about illegal immigration but that doesn't stop you guys from doing everything in your power to prevent it.

So suggest something fit...

What would have stopped this instance considering the kids was breaking two laws just having the gun.

This should be good.

You have to be kidding right? You just typed it yourself "ILLEGAL" immigration. What is wrong with trying to prevent illegal activities?

There is nothing wrong with trying to stop illegal immigration. What's wrong with trying to stop illegal killing?

Want the truth?

You can't if you want to live in a free society. There are inherent dangers living in a free society.

Exactly. The same thing goes for illegal immigration.

How are the two even remotely alike? For you to contend they are is the height of intellectual laziness. You can't argue one or the other as separate issues so you conflate them? No wonder, with leftist teachers like you, that so many of our kids are dumber than rocks by the time they get out of high school these days.

But illegal immigrants are far less likely to commit crime and be socialists. In fact, they commit less crime and are more conservative than most American citizens.

The shooter was mentally ill. He is white and used a gun in his crime. He shot the gun. He hit other people. Some died. Some didn't.

Should people who commit crimes with guns (fake guns and fingers in pocket included) be in a separate class of punishment?

Who said anything about jail? This is about financial responsibility. It's a sad fact, in today's world, hitting people in the pocketbook is the only way to get change.

Yes.

It is a higher level. I agree. Repercussions are much higher. Despite intent.
Is there a way to gauge intent despite despite method or weapon?
