Thats a lie.

Trump signed the mandate in December. The rates were finalized well before that happened. Carriers and the states have said the rates for this year are not do to what Trump may do. The rates are due to the current state of Obamacare.

So the insurance companies had no idea that Trump has been our president for over a year now?03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Man, my individual and family out-of-pocket amounts have gone through the roof!!!

I mean, they were high last year given that my now-deceased Cadillac plan in the past had ZERO $$ out-of-pocket, but now! Whew!

Thanks for making sure our family's healthcare options are non-existent even though I pay recently-increased premiums!

What a great deal!

What was that promise? Oh yeah...

You have health insurance? Must be nice...

Given that I pay ALOT more and I can't afford to actually use the benefit, yeah, it's pretty darn nice.

I don't know if it's been posted yet or not but the obamacare tax is still in place for 2018. So on top of the prices being set before repeal became law, saying the mandate repeal would affect 2018 is just factually incorrect

Yeah it's nice but my premiums have gone up the last 4 or 5 years. To the point I wonder if it was cheaper to pocket the money, pay the fine, and pay outta pocket.

What's really nice is when folks like you like to make those of us with insurance feel bad because you don't. Ahem not my problem. I needed insurance I got insurance. It's called being an adult.

Let me explain it to you. Your monthly premiums are in anticipation of this years expenses.

When Trump ended the mandate, he changed Obamacare to Trumpcare. Now it's on him and your health care increases are directly tied to what Trump signed.

Welcome to Trumpcare

The Experts said this would happen and now it's happening so don't blame Obama. This is on Trump.

lol. If he triples my premiums in 3 years you can call Trump and Obama even. My guess is as soon as we get rid ObamaScam and replace it with real insurance on a sustainable cost/benefit structure, prices will begin falling rapidly.

1. Insurance corridors

2. Destabilization of insurance markets.

Companies are not in business to lose money. This was as easy to predict as the sun rising in the east and it was intentional and by design.

You don't? I guess Obamacare didn't work for you. I guess this also means Obama didn't pay off your mortgage or your car note.

This is what we all said when Obumblecare was passed as it never addressed the supply side of care - just added a bunch of people NOT PAYING to the roles and squeezed the lower middle class into unaffordability.....

All it did was add a bunch more requirements and attempted to shift the cost from the healthy to the unhealthy.......except the penalty for not getting insurance was always way less costly than the dogshit, cover everything, Obumblecare requirements.......

The right has thrown the kitchen sink to destabilize the ACA then has the audacity to ***** when they were successful. You can’t make this stuff up. And it obviously works!!!!! You voted for this. You cheered. You own it! It’s not the ACA anymore. Deal with it. It’s Trumpcare. Own it. The GOP controls all three branches and have dismantled it. Remember Trump touting they repealed Obamacare. Anyone?

Nope. Still the shitshow that is Obamacare!! Removing the penalty did almost nothing - it was so low it never "forced" the healthy young to spend a bunch of money for an insurance plan that did nothing for them.........

Aw look now there's someone trying to make the ACA work or defunct it, the water carriers can safely cheer and say, this was not OUR president's fault. You know the same one who made sure it hit the floor with his party there while the right side was at home with their families. Because Christmas and all.

You can climb to the highest mountain, grab a megaphone and start screaming, but that won't magically change a false premise to truth.

You do realize that premiums, even in the face of the $2,500 per year lie, have increased EVERY year since ObamaCare was passed, right?

I know you do. How could you not? Unless you intentionally blinded yourself to the numbers as they came out.

First, my cadillac plan was killed. That happened once ObamaCare was passed prior to its enactment.

Then premiums began to rise -- year over year -- every year.

Co-pays began to rise.

Out-of-pocket REALLY began to rise.

And each year it's been harder for my family to afford medical care. We make sure our daughter sees the doctor as necessary. And I encourage my wife to go. At least annual physicals are covered.

But she and I just don't go to the doctor any more.

You can try to blame that on Trump but I really thought you had more integrity than that.
