Middle Tennessee in Montgomery vs Arkansas St. The MAC must’ve made a trade or had issues

That would be the bowl I would want for Western....PCB just 2.5 hours away and this time of year beach front rooms for $50 and under. Even if the water/ocean is too cold to swim in...can't beat waking up to the view and sound. Plus fishing is still fairly good.

If so I can’t believe I’ll actually be pulling for Middle in a football game. Hopefully Little Stock will light them up.
There’s not a more smug fanbase (with no legit reason to be) than the Arky State Red Woofs. Can’t win an OOC game to save their lives and then think running a weak Sun Belt every year makes them the Bammer of the Ozarks.
Goooooo Stock (little one). Beat Arky State.

Yikes. Standby for FAU meltdown.
It's prob even worse for most fans but better for me as I said. Still awful though
Now you can find a friend that is going and drive down and split cost. Dec in BOCA/Ft Lauderdale is hard to beat. I know I make this trip 2 to 4 times every Dec/Jan
I'm not going to a bowl game 5 days before Christmas. I am mad for the players and local fans on the location and opponent. I was never going to go no matter what

As far as this game being against Troy. Well Troy is a damn good team and stop using that as a excuse about lack of "excitement". They are a lot better than that Army team UNT loss to last year.
But I doubt seriously those complaining.....would be at any UNT not with in a hours drive. Hell you get a game in a great party town, usually great weather to walk around and then get to play the damn game in perfect conditions....
a short 7 hour drive
Why wait? We played there 4 times in the Sun Belt. Look up the attendance numbers. I bet attendance was just as many, if not more than WKU.
No one gives a damn how good Troy is. Or how they compare to Army's team from last year.
What people are complaining about is the same thing FAU fans are complaining about. It's what Troy fans are complaining about. It's what you should be complaining about too. G5 schools do not play P5 schools in Bowl games unless the hand is forced with an undefeated season, or the numbers don't work out.
So you don't go to games to see your team play? You go because of who they play?
Why would I complain about something I knew was in place for years now? If you want your team to play P5 games.....
maybe you should be on your AD about replacing the FCS game to a P-5 road game. Or try to get a 2 for 1 vs a P5.
All fans know it's a long shot that their CUSA will get a P5 bowl game. You are acting like this is a disgrace. Hell the only sure shot is to go 13-0 then you might have something to ***** about
It's not a disgrace. It's disappointing that our conference Champion stays home to play a 6-6 team.
But carry on, everything is awesome in Western Kentucky, where you are blissfully happy to be playing Ga. St. at the kids table. Lets watch how many WKU fans make the trip to sunny Orlando, where there is always something to do and the weather is awesome.
You act like it's a big surprise that we are at the "kids table". Name a time in UNT's history that wasn't the case?
If our conference champ stays home and plays a 6-6 team....they made that choice. Just as Western choose sunny Miami and sunny BOCA the last two years.
It's not a surprise you are at the kids table. It is also not a surprise that UNT doesn't get to call the shots and gets the New Orleans bowl after getting smashed twice by FAU and losing 4 total games. Its disappointing to play a Sun Belt team, but it is what it is. There are many other teams in the country and we get to play Troy, again.
Look, I get that WKU is just happy to not get left out of a bowl this year. But, it sure doesn't seem that FAU had much say in the matter, and maybe that is because of fan support, I do not know. It just seems suspect to me.

Marshall cant get left out since they were 7-5 and must be chosen over 6-6 teams. Unless, of course Marshall is choosing not to go to a bowl.

As things fill up only option that appears left is v. Army.

UTSA is 6-5 not 6-6 so technically they have a winning record as per conference rules.

We act like fans of a Conference Champion with a 10-3 records on a 9-0 winning streak. And the only season that matters is the current one. We could be on a 150 game losing streak prior to the season, it would not have mattered.
