FAU fans acting like they’re Boise State after one good season. Y’all lost to Buffalo.

We act like fans of a Conference Champion with a 10-3 records on a 9-0 winning streak. And the only season that matters is the current one. We could be on a 150 game losing streak prior to the season, it would not have mattered.

Celebrate all you want. You guys earned it.
I hate Kiffin settled for staying home, it is like it did not matter to him, I wanted them against a good opponent. Agree, you have every right to celebrate.

Can't happen, 7-5s have to make a bowl before a 6-6 team.

Wouldn’t that mean UTSA is elimated then?

UTSA is 6-5 not 6-6 so technically they have a winning record as per conference rules.

UTSA had a losing CUSA record so they “might” be last team out of the 4 6-win CUSA teams. That’s not official, just a guess

I'm mad for playing at home. Not the matchups as much. Although playing a 6-6 team would suck too

Bowls should be to get best matchups for the current year. Not history. And nobody commented that we are a powerhouse

If FAU wanted another CUSA bowl and was told no then there should be outrage from fans. But if this was the choice of FAU I can understand message board fans being upset. But FAU made that choice. Lets not forget...

you are 40 minutes away and I believe only made 1 home game this season. As I said in that thread...family time is more important. But if that was the case....

being disappointed with who you play, I understand. Being upset when no matter who FAU was playing you were probably not going. Well...I don't see why. Maybe that's why FAU chose to stay home.

Memories of the 2011 Southern Miss Bowl selection. Won CUSA CHAMPIONSHIP has pick of any bowl. Coaches and players picked Hawaii over Dallas against Penn State. Fans were/still pissed.

Correction there...coaches chose Hawaii. Players wanted Heart of Dallas vs Penn St so their families could attend. Coaches won out.

CBS shows two bowls left, NM and Armed Services, in theory both Marshall and UTSA should get invites since both have CUSA tie-in. Who goes where?

I'm starting to think CUSA traded Armed Forces to get more teams into bowls.

I feel you. We weren’t thrilled with playing 6-6 wake last year off a conference championship. But if you have no sustained success it’s hard to demand respect and ideal matchups after one decent year. Playing at home sucks for sure.

Sounds like SDSU didn’t want to play CSU and we traded the AF for NM.
