Doesn't matter, they won the game. Tigers got so tired at the end.

Apparently resting the starters against ECU in the 2nd half didn't do jack sh*t. UCF played USF and Memphis to the wire back to back. How are the Tigers tired?

What if RF and Miller don't play? Many players forego their last game for NFL readiness.

Fournette and McCaffrey skipped their team's bowls last year, and both drafted in the top 10. Wouldn't think those two would skip, but who knows? Not supposed to be talking to agents yet, so agent should not be advising them not to.

Many players have already stated they will not be playing in bowls games this year. And they all are not projected to be 1st rounders.

I thought I'd be upset after this game, but I'm not.

Some observations:
The Tigers got two turnovers in the red zone during regulation. If you told me that before the game, I would have figured Memphis would win.

I was surprised they didn't call a timeout before the two delay of game calls on that final drive of regulation, when they tried for the game-winning field goal.

I can't believe they didn't score on that last drive in regulation - that illegal block was an absolute killer.

The Tigers put forth an amazing effort by coming back from multiple 10-point deficits in the first half to take the lead at halftime. I really wasn't sure they would come back when the Knights were driving in the 4th up by 11 and chewing up clock. But the defense held them to a field goal, which set the stage for that dramatic ending.

Overall, a very satisfying season, capped by an incredible game.

Ferguson now own the top two single game passing record twice passing for 471 yards in a game and the single season passing record of 3971 yards. Is third all time in passing yards with 7669 yards in JUST TWO YEARS. Trailing four year player Wimprine at 10,215 and three year player Lynch with 8,863 yards.2nd ONLY to Wimprine in passing TDs with 68 in 2 years compared to Wimprines 81 in 4 years. And broke his own record for single season TDs with 36 this season.

Making him a cinch for future induction in the Tigers Sports Hall of Fame

Shame that either team lost, a classic for the years

We made a number of mistakes which cost us a chance to win. But there was a fair bit of home cooking. AAC wanted to make sure they had an undefeated champion.

Case in point. The pass interference call in OT. I double checked the rule book before re-posting this. It states that a WR is considered a blocker UNTIL the ball is in the air and the defender can block him all the way down the field UNTIL the ball is in the air. Replay CLEARLY showed that when the WR was knocked down on the play the QB still had the ball in his hand.

What pisses me most is the official behind the 0play was looking straight down field past the WR and DB and saw that the QB was still holding the ball when the WR was knocked down. And he refused to over ruled the sideline official who made the call. End Zone camera was looking straight down the field just to the side of the official and there is no way he could have missed seeing the QB still had the ball.

Example of the selfishness of today's players. Who care only about themselves and to hell with the team.

If a player refused to play in bowl game i would clean out his locker and his dorm room and move them off campus immediately and close all facilities to them. That includes all guidance and access to team officials.

disassociate an all-american and future pro from the university?

sounds like the right move.

What a great game. Disappointed like everyone else, but a helluva effort. Anthony Miller is a bona fide stud.

I still can't watch past the 3 min remaining mark in that game just as I won't watch the start of OT of this one

Me either. Had never, not once, watched the Chalmers shot to win the game on video. Only remember it as I saw it, which was from the other side of the court. When he got traded to the Grizz, accidentally saw it in a news clip. Never want to see it again.

I want to break something every time i think about that it was KU who actually had an illegal player in the game and got away with it.

Rose's brother flying with team for free also made Rose ineligible

Can't believe the UCF TD in 2nd overtime was not reviewed. The ball was not across the goal when the runners knee hit. Not even a review. Crappy conference and sham officiating
