I agree. There's just no good way to answer the question without looking like a liar on Sunday if he accepts the Nebraska job.

Probably the best way is the Jimbo way, i.e. just say I never comment on job rumors. And then don't comment anymore. But you have to be consistent.

Saw the excellent question in another thread, "What's the win percentage of teams in a bowl game or championship game without their head coach?" I have a pretty good idea it'd be about 25%. Easily enough to overcome a 7 point spread, I would think. Some will say, "No, I want CFU at full strength so we make a great statement when we beat them." I get that, and maybe after 3 or 4 Conference Championship games I'll feel that way. But not now. Take down CFU at any cost, any way you can, and play on NEW YEARS FREAKIN DAY BABY!!

Here is a link to an article from the LINCOLN (NEBRASKA) JOURNAL STAR. To me, it looks like he is going to NEBRASKA and the deal is done. You would think, people in Orlando have figured that out by now.

On this date (dec 2nd) 25 years ago, i lost my "papaw" who was my father figure. I was at his house sitting in his chair that night watching the tigers play arkansas. We were up big in the first half. David vaughn blew out his knee and we lost the game. Lost a chance to win a championship. It was a very sad day for me. I'll never forget it.

What a huge accomplishment this would be for our Football team and the city of Memphis. I think we come out on top in this one in a shoot out! 45-42 Tigers!
