Still a ways to go but having solid Florida based programs is great for CUSA. They continue to improve and aim surprised it’s taken this long but it just goes to show how the right coach can get things rolling. Now if only we could beat them...

Couldn't agree more. Too, I expect Davis to hang around and he will build a winner.

If Kiffen wasnt a gigantic piece of **** it would be easier to be happy about it.

And yes, the 90's kicked ass if you want to know. Marshall had the highest win % of any team in the 90's. But we don't live in the past.

Still, I would have been far more happy had we taken that win at Buffalo. That loss is like a blemish that only next two wins may remove.

So FAU, FIU, UCF and USF are all having sterling seasons in a year where Florida and FSU are having a bed-crapping competition.

Agree with OP, but down here in Florida, FIU and FAU get almost zero coverage outside of SE Florida. That could change if they continue their improvement, but for now they are far behind UF, FSU, Miami, USF and UCF in sports coverage.

Well, UCF, USF, and even Miami don't get much coverage outside of their areas. You can't really compare these programs with UF and FSU in terms of popularity within the state.

Everyone knows he'll leave FAU as quick as a P5 offer comes his way, the question is will he stay for a 2nd season? FAU does have a solid assistant to take over who may stay for several season keeping them strong for a while.

I've always been a proponent of having a presence in Florida, but neither one of FAU or FIU have ever had anything resembling sustained success and I don't expect that to change.

In 24 combined FBS seasons, they have four combined winning seasons and 11 combined seasons of three wins or less.

I'll believe it when I see it.

So is 80 percent of coaches in G5. No one calls Scott Forst a thief in the night and he is good as gone after this year.

It feels good to have both FIU and FAU playing well at the same time. Pretty incredible the difference a competent coaching staff makes.
