Perhaps you and the rest of these right-wing fake grand-standers should educate yourself on what the players are actually protesting. It's not the anthem, the flag, or the military.
And I suppose you're going to tell me that you stand for the anthem when watching events at home?
Now they're protesting President Trump.
Bingo! Glad you finally see the light. They're protesting social injustice. Like a rouge president telling people when it is appropriate to protest and exercise constitutional rights.
Until the NFL teams institute rules against it, trump has no place telling them what they can and cannot (or should not) do when it is fully within their rights.
Pretty sure you did not like in one bit when Obama chimed in on social issues, AMIRITE?
Dude, I saw the light when Kap was protesting.....well, he wasn't protesting anything actually. His story continually changed by the hour and probably still does. No one knows for sure because Kap is cucked. His GF does all of his talking for him now.

I think so to. Orders were probably: go to the game and leave if someone takes a knee OR stay if they don't.
Whatever happens, it's a winning situation. Maybe Pence would've preferred to stay at the game. I think Trump prefers that they took the knee. If players didn't take the knee it doesn't do Trump any good besides being able to tweet that he's won this particular day. He'd have to find something else to get his base mad about (which isn't actually that hard).
No need to slam Pence or the players. Both parties are doing what they think they have to do.

Okay then.
The day after the attack, the video was suspected as the cause, so he said as much.
From the New York Times on September 12, 2012:
Quote:Fighters involved in the assault, which was spearheaded by an Islamist brigade formed during last year’s uprising against Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, said in interviews during the battle that they were moved to attack the mission by anger over a 14-minute, American-made video that depicted the Prophet Muhammad, Islam’s founder, as a villainous, homosexual and child-molesting buffoon. Their attack followed by just a few hours the storming of the compound surrounding the United States Embassy in Cairo by an unarmed mob protesting the same video. On Wednesday, new crowds of protesters gathered outside the United States Embassies in Tunis and Cairo.
Libya Attack Brings Challenges for U.S.
And subsequent intelligence also thought this and that was what Rice used on the morning shows. Later we found out this information was incorrect. This has all been covered here before as well as in the Republican investigations which cleared Rice.
Move along.
No it was not suspected to be the cause at all. In fact Obama knew the video excuse was a lie and yet sent his minions to go out on the Sunday shows and peddle said lie. I've got proof that you'll more than likely dismiss as not good enough.

Right. You know Obama was lying the day after the attack because the case was already totally investigated. I guess that's what happens to you when you rely on pajamas media.
But I notice you're still choosing to ignore the several congressional investigations that clearly tell you that you're wrong.
I gave you my proof and in predictable fashion you dismissed it as not good enough. Sad.
I'm right and you and your establishment "investigations" are wrong. Move along.

Try to keep. Part of what they are protesting NOW is due to trump sticking his nose into something he has no place being in. He's only in it because it riles up his mindless base. See this place the last few weeks.
This started with Kap last year and was about social injustices against blacks.
so Trump has no place on speaking his mind about people protesting the flag, the national anthem and the military?
OFFS!
For the umpteenth time, they are not protesting the flag, the anthem, nor the military!
JHC.
Please advise what specifically are the social injustices against blacks? I've heard it tied directly to one issue; however, what are the others.
FYI, what I think you are refusing to acknowledge about these protests are that people don't give a sh!t what they are protesting against IF they are going to (metaphorically) give the finger to things most people hold as being sacred.
What would happen to me if I would go to Dearborn, MI to the most prosperous Islamic neighborhood I could find, park myself right across from the mosque and draw pictures of Mohammed as a protest against the plight of migrant workers in Saudi Arabia? Do you think they would show empathy with my protest?

if thats not the reason why they are protesting, then why are they protesting during the time thats reserved for honoring the flag, the anthem and the military?
When's actually a better time logistically?
1. You have a majority of people in the stands.
2. You have a vast majority of the people quiet.
3. The majority of the team is doing one thing and the media will find you doing something different.
4. As long as you're not doing something wild on the sidelines, there aren't any hard and fast rules saying that you're violating something.
5. You aren't being coached, playing, receiving instructions, warming up, doing team walkthroughs. It's not interfering with your job.
As far as the course of the game is concerned, that's really a sweet spot in the whole production. A bunch of loopholes converged at one moment.

I'm not black...you'll have to ask them. I would guess it's things like racial profiling and stuff like DWB. Something only they can experience. Perhaps it's overblown, but if you're not black, it's hard to just blatantly dismiss it.
And as I said earlier, I would prefer they protest in other ways and other places...and also speak out more vocally. But again, it's not my place or right to tell others when and where to protest.

I dismissed it because, as per usual, pjmedia did not give you the whole story.
Quote:Like her call to the Egyptian prime minister, Clinton's apparent certainty that the attack was carried out by a known terrorist group contradicted some administration officials' public statements in the wake of the attack.
Clinton's assessment came after White House and State Department officials became aware that an Islamic militant group had claimed responsibility for the attack on Facebook.
The next month, Clinton said that the Facebook post was "not in and of itself evidence" of who was in fact responsible and "underscores how fluid the reporting was at the time." U.S. intelligence officials later determined that the post was not credible.
Quote:"When I talked to the Egyptian prime minister, I said that this was a claim of responsibility by Ansar al-Sharia, by a group that was affiliated -- or at least wanted to be affiliated -- with al Qaida," she related. "Sometime after that, the next day, early the next morning after that, on the 12th or 13th, they retracted their claim of responsibility."
What did we learn about Benghazi at marathon hearing?

Seems to be a disconnect then. If you aren't even sure WHAT they are protesting against - because "social injustice" is WAY too generic - then how can you ever take anything they say seriously? And why not interpret their actions as slamming our country? Honestly, if the crux of their protests are per your speculation based on police interactions, why not protest those specific cities for these injustices? Why aren't the 49'ers railing against the evils of San Francisco? Or better yet, the Bears protesting against the city of Chicago because of the ridiculously high murder rates?

I'm not black...you'll have to ask them. I would guess it's things like racial profiling and stuff like DWB. Something only they can experience. Perhaps it's overblown, but if you're not black, it's hard to just blatantly dismiss it.
And as I said earlier, I would prefer they protest in other ways and other places...and also speak out more vocally. But again, it's not my place or right to tell others when and where to protest.
I pretty much ignore all protests, so this matters little to me. I'm just telling you what they say they're protesting...and again, it ain't the things trump and his RW minions are telling their masses it is.
