I'll tell you that what I told a condescending Cincinnati fan after the game, Brian Kelly is gone and he's not coming back. UC is just back to what they were for their entire existence before he got there.

Look big mouth, we will see you next year in a much better position. You beat us tonight with our worst game ever. Next year will be different.

We don't play next year, so it will be different. What makes you think you will be in a better position? I know hope springs eternal with most fans, but your program is a shell of what it was 5 years ago. Tuberville stole your money and then you followed it up with a bad hire.

I think the others have made all the cogent points. We as a program are at our lowest position. fickell has us on the right trajectory. I cannot believe there is no return game scheduled next year.

The return game is in 2019, not 2018, so it'll be two season before Cincinnati plays at Marshall.

I have respect for Fickell, so I think he'll eventually get the ship pointed in the right direction for you.

But we're not going to sit idle and not continue to get better in that time as well. You think we played well last night, you should see us at home.

We don't think you played well. We think Cincy played poorly.

Oh sweet child. I'd love to continue our eight game winning streak on your program, but the other FCS teams pay more to come lose to us.

Now back to the sandbox with you.

We have won outright or shared 6 conference championships since 2002 under 4 different coaches. Our best two seasons came under Brian Kelly, but we had plenty of success both before and after his 3 seasons here. Even Fluberville managed back-to-back 9-win seasons. Folks seem to have amnesia about Cincinnati football. Even in the C-USA days, we were respectable with 5 top-3 finishes in our 9 seasons there.

Cinci is a solid program. There is still a lot of football left to play. Michigan and Navy are playing great ball and Marshall just has had a hard on for you guys. Looking forward to 2019 when you guys make the trip back up the river again.

Yet, when you hear and see "American Power", you and I both know that that really refers to Marshall. Afterall, your conference is still 0-for-It's-Entire-Existence against Marshall...

Marshall really isn't a G4... WE ARE the original AMER1CAN POWER!

LMFAO, its pathetic that somebody actually took the time to make a meme commemorating this.

In the modern era (post WWII when teams have played 11 or more games per season), Cincinnati has exactly one 10 win season when the coach wasn't named Kelly or Jones and 5 such seasons when the coach was named Kelly or Jones. So that's 5 of 6 with, 1 of 65 without. During that period you have had as many 1 win seasons as 9 win seasons and as many 2 win seasons as 8 win seasons. Essentially your history is a team of 3-7 wins per season with more losing years than winning ones.

Those years where you won your one CUSA title and your 3 second place finishes featured one 7-7 record and three 7-5 records. So really you have had about 7-8 "great to very good" seasons in the last 71 years.

He never said UC was a Legacy program with a tradition that rivals Notre Dame. He was responding to your post. You insinuated that UC was only good with Brian Kelly and his post clearly shows that isn't necessarily the case.

Well, my 24 hour grace period from the end of the game is passed, so I'll just say good luck with the rest of your season and beat UCF because I really don't like those fans. Really have nothing against any other AAC teams.

Good luck the rest of the way as well. I thank God I went to UC and not MU.

It is shocking. I expected UC to be a 'flagship' football program as well, one that was always at least pretty good year in and year out, always a contender.

I feel bad for Marshall and USM getting left behind in the CUSA dumpster fire. Wish you guys were here so we could continue our win streak.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Has the area around UC always looked like a third world country?

I've been through Huntington W.V. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Real nice to accept compliments and then throw out something like that.

It's called a city. Maybe you have never been to one?

That doesn't apply to them, double-wides and dilapidated barn houses don't count as houses.
