Even baseball games with their fans are miserable. We had to have police deployed in the stands during games with them, once even in their dugout.

Was Marshall the team where there was a whole thread dedicated to Haiku's to describe them?

You'd understand their attitude if the pinnacle of your achievement was to attend a glorified high school in Huntington, WV. The place isn't exactly a tower of learning or a garden-spot. Among Marshall's distinguished alumni, according to Wikipedia, is Tom Hayden, the Mayor of Flower Mound, Texas.

I just came here to wish Cincy good luck. This should be a great game and I hope Marshall can overcome their luck at Cincy. I went to the 2007 game and it was rough. Times have definitely changed, but this is gonna be a brawl of a matchup. Good Luck on Saturday!
