The recent Mass Effect: Andromeda debacle has gotten me hooked on this song.

to dahbeed and others....there are some really cool tubes with various artists in remembrance of Zappa....I suggest the Vai in the 'starter kit'....he once transcribed for Zap as an up and coming 'guitar punk'....no differently how satriani found vai, they both found Zappa for inspiration....

music and formation.....it's the best I'll ever experience (yeah, even over sex)...only family ranks higher....

tonight wouldn't be complete w/o adding this one.....yeah, PTNC, another TOOL song (give me a break, it's been awhile ) ....where is that dayum new album???

live/eclectic version of "Opiate" pure maynard as only he could design in textural stage presence and lyricism....another pure genius that hooker'd up with other geniuses IMO....

Brings back some memories! I saw Ozzy and his crew my sophomore year at Mardi Grass. I just had enough money to eat a bit for the rest of the week before I drove back to TECH. Man I was hungry particularly after that smoke filled warehouse where the concert was given.

One of my last arena concerts was the Sabbath reunion tour in 1999. They sounded great live. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago.

Found myself on an early morning Tool jag through YouTube that started by listening to Maynard talking on politics. Anyhoo that ended up with me clicking on some of the suggestions to the right.
