Ok.... while not normally my thing... when you have to perform those dark arts at work to get stuff done....

*Musically, I didn't find Morbid Angel bad but I can only take some much growling vocals LOL.

*Like I said though, this kind of metal isn't normally something I listen too...but it took the dark arts to get that area neat at work so this was mood music to accompany the task.

If you have watched the new series The Young Pope, you might have noted the music in the opening credits. A remake of the Jimi Hendrix All Along the Watchtower. That song is due a decent remake. I'm still not sure of the series as it is very up in the air for me and a little confusing as to the direction.

Not my words above but a good description. This video is a compromise that shows good action of the movie but doesn't include the slow beginning of the song which is very good too.





This song has deep roots for me growing up in La. as it was extremely popular.

I still don't understand this thread and why anyone gives a **** about what others are listening to. Do you guys really sit there and wonder about what this or that guy is listening to at any given moment? Freaking bizarre.

I don't see the harm in sharing what you are listening to in order to broaden your own music library.

If you don't like it then don't open the thread, no point in taking a dump on it for no reason.

Lots of people with lots of different tastes posting classics and new hotness someone might get turned on to.

My motivation is to listen to music that is new to me. Broadening my appreciation of different styles of music is like exploring. Every once in a while you run across a gem you weren't aware of. This is my favorite thread by far.
