I have noticed that you have a tendency to try and out everyone you think seems gay. Not very liberal of you.
That's because I'm not a liberal.
Oh but you are. Your posting history bears that out, despite your alleged claims of playing "devil's advocate".

If correct wouldn't that actually make him bisexual? At least if the wife isn't just a beard. But most importantly, who cares.

RE: Warren, Kaine, Castro on Clinton running-mate short list
Hell if he was gay I'd be more inclined to support him for VP. I'm just not sold on his ability to be an effective communicator and attack dog, which are two of the most important roles a running mate plays. I'd like to see him win a statewide race before throwing him into the middle of this election because he undercuts her experience argument. Texas is becoming more purple by the year and a Dem winning statewide should be a realistic proposition by 2020. Until then he can get seasoning in the Obama and Clinton admins to prep for a 2024 run.
Warren and Clinton are campaigning together next week. Trial run? I hope so.

Hillary Clinton will return to Ohio on Monday, June 27, to campaign with U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren. At a public event in Cincinnati, Clinton and Warren will discuss their shared commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.
Additional details about this event will be released soon.

I wish you were correct about Texas. I live here. While its possible that Texas starts to turn, its got a looooong way to go. The biggest problem here is that Latino Texans don't vote. And if the prospect of Trump on the ballot can't motivate them to show up, nothing will.

RE: Warren, Kaine, Castro on Clinton running-mate short list
My understanding is the biggest problem is voter registration, and the GOP does everything in their power to keep it that way. You can use an NRA card as an ID to vote, but not a college ID. If you're going to register voters, you are forbidden from leaving your precinct and from registering anyone from outside your precinct. The GOP knows they're losing, and they're ultimately just delaying the inevitable, but in the meantime they're mastering the art of voter disenfranchisement because they know they're outnumbered.

A college ID clearly doesn't show residency. You can argue if an NRA card does, but are you willing to actually call college students "residents" for voting purposes of the municipality where their school is located? Come on. Again, try to be less hyperbolic. All this does is illustrate you don't really want to converse. You want to poke, troll and rant.

That has an impact, but Latino voting participation rates, even among well off Latinos is abysmal in Texas.

The old establishment candidate needs a young rising star to offer a youthful balance to her old 'establishment' image...plus, a First Lady from AR...and the young Texas mayor could play well in the south.

Except you're wrong and the point of an ID card isn't to show residency, whether it's college or NRA. They've already registered in Texas. The point of showing your ID card is just to ******* identify the person standing before you. You want to talk motive? You really ******* believe NRA cards are accepted over college IDs for any reason other than the fact it helps those same Republican politicians win reelection? Because if you do I've got some great swampland for sale.

Well Trump is doing his best to help, that's for sure.
Their registration and voting rates don't have to be great to flip these states. If the Dems only turned out half of the unregistered AAs in metro Atlanta the state of Georgia would've been blue in 2012. Trump should accelerate the process of turning GA, AZ and TX blue.

Actually, with day of voting registration, a college ID could be used to attempt to demonstrate residency.
I guess what you are saying is that people who are likely not eligible to vote but do vote skew Democratic.

Actually (at least here in NC) college students are considered residents. That was established by the courts many years ago though GOP operatives have tried to disenfranchise them often since then. My daughter missed the special primary a few weeks ago because she wasn't in Greenville. Of course she resides there 9/12ths of the time so it is still the logical place for her registration.
