That UT campus was deemed illegal check yo facts before you troll.

By who? Some lawyer from UH 03-lmfao You are uninformed.

Just like UT will never allow UH to be in a conference with them and just like UT shot down expansion. What UT says goes in the Big 12. That's just reality sorry you are too delusional or young to see that

Sorry bud but under Texas law your only allowed to build buildings on your campus. Unless its a new school entirely. UTMB for example while still part of the UT education system is considered its own school. UT was attempting to build another classroom building by UH hoping they wouldn't fight it. However it was deemed illegal since its not a separate school.

You should know your facts before you post. It makes sense now that you'r a La Tech fan since they have low education standards for people like you.

I can put you in touch a member on the expansion task force if you like. It will happen and there is already enough support in the legislature for it. BTW I graduated from UT also.

that is old, keep up...when that news of the land was bought every uh connected congressman and senator made comments about being against it aswell as the head of the texas board of education
ut has had to make public statements saying they dont want to compete with uh, that it would be a hub..you are acting like it already a built school and ut is trying to make it bigger than UH

if anything this is why UT would let UH in, that school isnt going to go up without UH's approval..and they are probably trying to cut UH a deal of potential big 12 and they get Houston campus..academics has more money than athletics

It's not illegal to buy land idiot. It's illegal to use that land to build a building for education purposes that is not located near the main university. All buildings that are part of a university must be within a certain distance of that university under Texas law. Thats why UT is labeling it as a research hub so as to get around the law. Your own link shows this

Otherwise UT would have to allow it to become it's own school under the Texas university system. Stop trolling your terrible at it and you make yourself look moronic.

Devastating news for AAC teams/BYU RT @davidubben: Texas AD Mike Perrin on expansion: “The prudent thing is to stay where we are.”

"Texas' agreement to expansion is seen as a key to any move by the Big 12. It will take a super majority of eight schools to approve it. Perrin was later asked by CBS Sports, if the vote was 9-1 for expansion with Texas being the only dissenter, whether the school would agree to expansion.

He said it would.
"

Texas has one (1) vote.

I leave you with this fellas, from a person in the know:
"We would like to collaborate with UH on this. It is up to them, they can either get on board or get left behind on this"

Good luck to all, no hard feelings

Im kinda confused about the super majority thing. So expansion would pass if even if Texas voted no?
