Question? Which would you prefer? Having Calipari back or getting into the Big 12?

neither will happen, so what's the point of your question?

Simply this. To get into the Big 12 he could not be our coach.

that's not a problem...moreover, that in no way makes Cal and Tommy West wrong about the obvious miserable segment of our fan base

If you think the Memphis fanbase is somehow inherently different than any other college fanbase, you are simply mistaken.

The true miserables are those who are always worried about what others are doing. Like you, for example.

We should strive to emulate KY fans. They support the Wildcats
through thick and thin. Even during "bad" years, the conference tourney host city is awash in blue. The contrast with purported Tiger fans is quite pronounced.

not me. I always keep a list in my pocket that I can pull out and select a new team if we're stinking it up. last few games of football season I was an Alabama fan

You state that purported Tiger fans are incapable of emulating KY fans because Memphis is not the State team. I disagree, it just takes acknowledgement of the shortcoming and then working to address it. A problem cannot be fixed until it is recognized as a problem.

There have been more songs written mentioning Memphis than Lexington and Knoxville by an indeterminate order of magnitude.

His nunbers are a bit off. By a factor of 4 to be exact.

Ambassadors give $500,000 over 5 years. They are also the group that is hit up first for major projects like the new football and basketball facilities so many give much more than the initial $500k.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Haha.....well played.
