It was a joke. Houston fans have a problem with me, one thinks I'm Quo and another has consistently accused me of being a fan of a lesser conference(s). I actually like the latter fan. I don't know why he took that cheap shot at me last night. BTW, every post I'm made on 2016 predictions have the Coogs being awesome this year. A couple weeks ago I predicted that Houston could make the playoffs. I fit in well here in Houston because everyone I know is an AtM fan, with a few other exceptions. we don't argue as Ive got no dog in that hunt. I'm not well liked by a lot of Houston fans on this board. They are a sensitive bunch, very pro AAC, very pro Aresco. Biggie is normally cool though, I Don't know why he was so feisty last night? Feeling better Biggie?
Cheers!
LOL... Great that explains your Houston hatred, you're an aggie fan as well.
C'mon billy, quit been so sensitive. You take everything at heart. Here's a nickel worth of advice, don't be (sensitive). Hehe
Sensitive? Sensitive! I'm not sensitive haha... Anyway, I'm not an AtM fan although for some odd reason I don't despise them the way I do UT. AtM is kinda meh..whatever. Same with my once former "hometown" team Texas Tech. Never was a fan and yet never cared enough to hate em....
Cheers!
Dude are you like literally a fan of every team or something?
You misunderstood due to being new on here. I was making a joke with some of the long time posters on here who have accused me of rooting for someone other than ECU. Yes, I've literally been accused of being a fan of almost every other team except ECU I'm a fan of 1 team. I'm not a conference t-shirt fan. I don't claim all 12 AAC schools. I do keep tabs on the locals (Coogs) and my service branch (Army). But I'm a fan of the school I graduated from. ECU all the way.
Cheers!
I'd like to think we are among the top 5, but I think we have too many question marks at corner. I think we'll be okay, but we are a little thin. We're breaking in a new center as well. The good news on the OL is that we have Van Horn back and Selby is moving from center back to his spot at right guard. This should get our running game back on track. Slot receiver is still a question, as is one outside spot. IF these guys can perform, we could be in contention, but I think we are still a year away.

Boise isn't even the best team in their division much less the MWC. Will any MWC come within two TDs of SDSU this year?

Not trying to be a prick but there's a competitive level difference between the AAC and were boise state currently resides, the mountain west conference. Let's be honest here, and again not trying to be a prick, but the mwc is a one team conference.
You're right. That team is SDSU.
Ahhh I'm sure you're a completely unbiased opinion on the matter

Facts are facts. SDSU returns almost its entire two deep from a team that cut through the MWC like an 800lb gorilla with a chainsaw for a *****.
Meanwhile Boise loses both coordinators and almost their entire defense from a team that finished fourth in their division...
Welp much like USF, y'all gotta get past my Huskies first and we're no joke (unless it's a bowl game). Looking forward to the game this year!

Sdsu is good but usually craps the bed ooc. If they can do anything ooc and beat bsu they would have a strong case.
That bodes well for my Huskies at Huskie Stadium!

I like niu, went to a crazy party there. James mentioned bsu having new coordinators. Harsin is going to co call offensive plays like he did in the bowl game last year against niu. I liked how that offense looked.

Yeah there's been a lot of controversy about that bowl game here in Dekalb. Apparently players quit on the offensive coordinator in that game, that's why he got fired this offseason
But we do have some solid parties, back when i used to be a student there. Case races and ABC parties used to be all the rage back then

You guys are probably the toughest game on our schedule. Our guys will be ready.

I'm going to be very honest with you. I'm not very worried about losing to NIU. Like your program, like what you've done, but if we play as we are capable of playing at home, we should win this game handily. If we can't then we're going to have problems anyway.

Two Words: Rocky Long. Or maybe South Alabama. Rocky always seems to lose an OOC game that he wasn't supposed to lose. I really think SDSU looks good on paper and might be the second or third most talented team in the running for the access bid, but I wouldn't be surprised if SDSU drops the ball on a gimmie game or two. Cheers!

I believe USF will win that game as well, hell of a squad y'all got coming back tbis year. But NIU is not a team to fall asleep at the wheel with, just ask tOSU last year when it almosy cost them

The old man has turned a new leaf. He used to not care about bowl games either. Ask your conference mate how that worked out for them...
We return the MWC offensive, defensive and special teams players of the year. We lose three starters on defense but due to injuries their backups have a ton of experience. One pretty much had has way with the Cincinnati OL in the Hawaii bowl.
On offense we lose a RT, RG, FB and WR. We've been recruiting OL like crazy recently and have guys ready to step in.
We may slip up this year but I wouldn't bet on it.

NIU at USF will be a very good game. I'm really excited about how much talent the Bulls return. This could be a very good year for the Bulls.

cincy was getting destroyed by everyone by seasons end...the life had been taken from them
it was 51-3 halftime in usf vs cincy
but i kinda have HUGE question marks for sdsu aswell ..
like i noted in an earlier response i have sdsu #2 "on paper" but don't have them anywhere in my top 5 from my gut feeling
sdsu had an amazing run to finish the year, but it was in arguably the worst division in fbs football last year, from performance, and your bowl was against a team that was imploding
but sdsu schedule isn't very good next year ..so even if sdsu isn't great they might still win a ton...a rebuilding cal and niu who could both end up 7wins and under are the best 2 teams you play next year

Tulsa DC says his D is "Lightyears ahead of last years D. I hope so, we were pretty bad last year. From what I saw at the spring game he's nailed it. 4 tds in the spring game...we'll see. I think we have 6 or 7 slot receivers that will give teams fits along with a couple big, fast down field threats that are gifted. Not saying top 5 but have a chance.

Hmm...
11/07/15 @ 8 Houston L 30-33
11/14/15 Tulsa W 49-38
11/20/15 @ South Fla. L 27-65
11/28/15 @ East Caro. W 19-16
If losing by three to mighty Houston and beating two other conference mates is getting destroyed by everyone I'd hate to see what you call what we did to them.
