It's spring, the practices are at whack times, and there was really a dissolution of stupidity on here last year.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone in particular, but there was a lot of user-on-user venom. I am included, so I have only really been lurking and answering band questions when I see them.

I am sure the board will pick up near season's start

And be suicidal after the first offensive plays of the opening game. It's our nature.

I wonder how many plays it will take before someone cries for Carey's ouster. Is there a pool for that?

We should set that up beforehand. My guess is after the first three offensive series, when we'll see nothing but jet sweeps and bubbles, and we go three and out.

And expectations are probably as low as they have been in awhile for this upcoming season. It's only natural to have less interest with less expectation

Do you have less expectations for this season? I fully expect this years product to exceed last years. Admittedly last years team did not meet my pre-season expectations. But last season was a bit of a debacle, so I'm planning on a better 2016. It's a big year for this regime. Perform or begone. No excuses.

Posts like this are a prime example on why people lose interest on posting here. Same 2 or 3 people posting the same drivel ad nauseum.

Your negative posts are probably part of the reason why a lot of people have stopped posting here. This is supposed to be a place for us NIU fans to discuss athletics in a positive aspect and not to down it every chance you get.

Just being objective. Isn't that a reason people would stay away if there was this kool aid drinking plugging my ears to the rest of the world mentality. This team and program is regressing now under coach Carey I would love to get my Pom poms and say everything is ok and lie about it but any level headed person can see this thing is going in the wrong direction
