Hannah Storm lived in Memphis. Her dad was an owner of the Memphis Sounds ABA team. Real last name is Storen. Went to St. Agnes.

Burke isn't terrible but she loves, loves, loves her some UConn. That's the most annoying part. She did last years game against UConn and was very annoying with her partiality to UConn.

If we had a national championship coach and were coming off the championship, she'd be a little more complimentary. I remember the game last season, and she was fine. Uconn was the better team, we won, and just because she loved Boatright wasn't a reason to get salty.

Agree. She basically writes us off, and lavishes all kinda of praise on who ever we are playing

The paranoia of this board is incredible.
The number of refs that are "out to get us" and announcers that are "biased against Memphis" is truly remarkable.

Can someone provide me with a list of all media, refs, etc. who are out to get us so I'll know who to hate? Thanks in advance.

Doris has an annoying voice and she is biased for northeastern schools. Those are 2 qualities that look bad on national announcers.
Last year during the UConn game she kept on and on about Boatright - when in reality, his poor play was one of the reasons we won.

I don't think anybody here is arguing that Burke is anti-Memphis.
She just really seems to be slanted towards at least UConn, IMO.

Rather listen to finger nails across a blackboard (if you can find a blackboard these days) than her.

and that goes for both the Tigers and Grizz
you should hear her slurp over Russell Westbrook

rogers hornsby knew a ton about baseball but was not a good manager. Knowledge of a subject does not automatically transfer to being able to perform in another field.
