Thought the final defensive sequence was poor. We back pedaled all the way down court, when we probably should've fouled.

Hamilton had a really good look. The way he torched us, we're lucky he missed!

If you think the defense on the last play was poor, you probably don't watch much bball. That's ok, a lot of folks are casual fans.

Just don't piss on the legs of the folks that are actually watching the game, and then try to tell us it's raining. You'll look sort of stupid, as you can see.

Season ticket holder here, and I live near Nashville. Give my 4 tickets to my parents and customers, when I'm not able to get in town. Lifelong Tiger supporter and graduate.

I played basketball my whole life, including AAU....so yes, I watch and understand the game.

Sorry brother. If your opinion is that Hamilton's shot was "wide open" on that last possession, then you should know that you are wrong, or were watching a different game, or something. I'd expect someone who played bball in middle school even to be able to see that.

I was just taking a jab at Doris because I thought she acted indignant over several of the calls or no calls. I normally enjoy her commentator and I think she is knowledgable of the game. But I think her emotions kind of led to a lack of professionalism last night. You can be a color commentator and even disagree with the officiating without acting personally offended over calls. I thought she was going to have an aneurysm when KJ wasn't called for a travel at the end of the game even though he was knocked to the ground.

And on another note, you can make your point without taking the name of Christ in vain. It's offensive to many, myself included.

The foul/tech against Boatwright was pretty egregious. Especially the tech afterward.

While the refs missed some calls that benefitted Memphis...and UConn...like in all games...They consistently allowed Brimah to push off to get his offensive boards. All night. Call even two of those fouls, and this is different non last shot ending.

Was anyone else really annoyed by Kedren Johnson? Every time they showed his face I wanted to punch him. Just hacking us and then whining to the refs all the time, on one of the brimah alley oop attempts, he backed his way under him hoping to up-end him and cause an injury. If I was a ref he would have had 2 T's if what Boat did can constitute a T

The tech wasnt. You dont act an animated fool like that. That gets t'ed up most of the time. Also, what boatright was arguing wasnt true. He was saying he was upright, and he wasnt. When Kedron went low, he went over him.

The foul was borderline. It could have been a no-call. That will get called most times though when you are over a guy bumping him and the guy goes down.

What was egregious was the lack of traveling calls on Uconn. At one point, three of their guys grabbed a rebound and took about 5 steps halfway to midcourt before one of them started dribbling.

That depends.

If the ball and player have already crossed half court completely, then yes it would be considered a violation. Once the ball and the player have crossed half court, neither the ball nor the player possessing the ball can cross back over the line.

If either the ball or the player with possession have not completely crossed half court, then no it is not a violation. For example, if the offensive player is dribbling the ball in front of him and the ball crosses the half court line but both of his feet don't cross the line, he can bring the ball back across the line. But the 10-second count to cross the half court line continues until both player and ball are across the line.
