It's already a decent year for NIU, but NIU is used to that ... I guess that anything less than a great year is a disappointment.

The AAC is getting schooled this bowl season so far. But they think they are a Power league

The AAC is off to a rough bowl start, but whether that will continue remains to be seen.

Regardless, the AAC could lose ALL its bowls and still will easily have had the best G5 season. Not even close.

American teams are only favored in 3 of 8 bowl games, so an 0-2 start shouldn't be shocking.

Yes, exactly. It's been a strange one.

I don't get the hate for the AAC? Most of the other G5 teams should be talking about how "great" they are because they will most likely end up there once the next round of realignment begins.

AAC fans want out as well, but they certainly don't malign their conference to the extent Cusa fans do theirs--and for good reason.

sorry but a conference with Cincy, Navy, Temple, and USF is better than being in a conference with Marshall, Rice, So Miss, and UAB. And not just in football.

But that said, by most if not all metrics, the AAC *is* the best of the five conferences right now. Whether that will or even can change is subject to debate, but I see no reason why it can't.

it can't change because if the AAC is raided, and any team from another eastern conference is asked, they will move to the AAC on the spot. Even look- Tulane just took Ga Southern's coach.

Tulane got in thanks to UCF lobbying hard for their membership. Would have been nice if our old buddies (looking at you ECU and Memphis) would have done the same for USM.
