How would I know the answer to that?

Scientific proof is also tough to go against.

You'll have to ask them.

When did science disprove God?

It hasn't, but it certainly has proved evolution takes place.

"proven" is a bad word to use. The nature of hypothesis testing makes proving anything impossible.

hahahaha, sorry.....UNBELIEVABLY MASSIVE STRONG EVIDENCE points to evolution existing. Same with gravity.

Quote:The people responsible for this shift are the young. According to a recent Pew Research Center report, 73 percent of American adults younger than 30 expressed some sort of belief in evolution, a jump from 61 percent in 2009, the first year in which the question was asked. The number who believed in purely secular evolution (that is, not directed by any divine power) jumped from 40 percent to a majority of 51 percent. In other words, if you ask a younger American how humans arose, you’re likely to get an answer that has nothing to do with God.

Quote:It’s not just the young who are moving in favor of secular evolution. The overall proportion of Americans who believe in secular evolution has doubled since 1999, from 9 percent to 19 percent, according to a 2014 Gallup poll. But it’s important to note that the jump in secular evolution does not necessarily correspond to an increase in the total number who believe in evolution. Instead, most of that increase has been drawn from the pool of Americans who previously reported that they believed in evolution guided by God, which simultaneously dropped from 40 percent to 31 percent.

Quote:The fight matters because we’re talking about the most fundamental tenet of modern biology. Origin of Species was just voted the most influential academic book of all time. As biologist Theodosius Dobzhansky wrote in 1973: “Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.” Shared ancestry and adaptation by natural selection are what tie the biological sciences together, give them shape and meaning, and explain why life on Earth became the way it is. Trying to teach biology without evolution would be like trying to teach chemistry without the periodic table of elements: It just doesn’t work.

Thank god, it's about time.

Nor do two monkeys produce humans that can't mate with monkeys. The theory is lunacy.

haha also not how it works. It happens because of mutations and changes in DNA over THOUSANDS of years as well as natural selection. It's really not that complicated.

Species occupy niches. Basically your argument is because you have perch fish how can you also have walleye in a lake. They occupy different niches. Monkeys and humans can occupy different niches.

Monkeys will only occupy niches where they are not in direct competition with humans. The most fit species will outcompete the less fit. Monkeys will move, adapt, or die when they are faced with competition from humans.

True when the species are competing for the same outcomes. Primates and humans can co-exist as they are not direct competitors. However, it is theorized that modern humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) did out compete the archaic humans (Neanderthals and Dinovisians).

It is also true that many diverse species co-exist in a mutual relationships.

I thought he was joking because that's a statement that even the creationist sources face palm when used.

From what I have seen of the most recent ideas on human evolution, Homo Sapiens absorbed the Neanderthals and Dinovisians, and there is compelling DNA evidence that proves the case.

And for those who are not very familiar with human evolution, Man, Monkeys, Apes and all of the primates we have today evolved from a common ancestor that I believe predated the species within the genus australopithecus, or the branching occurred within the genus australopithecus.
