Arkansas opened as a 21 point favorite which is now up to a 22-22.5 favorite.

Many Arkansas fans seem to think that without Hunt (they don't even seem to know about Swanson's injury) Toledo should be about the same as UTEP who they beat by 5 TDs, not 3.

Whitaker is going to pick off a pass which will lead to a td
Remy, Swanson and Moore combine for 2 scores
Ely has the game of his life and finds Jones, Roberts and Thompson for scores
We win 41-40

RE: Toledo at Arkansas
UT defensive front better than UTEP.
Hester and Jones are going to need Moore and Collins to play well and give them breathers against the Hogs huge O-Line. Voss will need some help from the other end, will really miss Covington in this game, IMHO. I wasn't overly impressed with LB play. Anyone know the status of Murdock's injury? Secondary looked a little better, but it was SB, Chaz had a nice game.
Obviously will miss Hunt, anyone know status of Swanson's injury? Need to be able to control the ball and keep our D-Line fresh.
Didn't expect the Rockets to win this game initially, but thought UT could be fairly competitive. With the suspensions and injury questions, I am a little more pessimistic and just hope the Rockets can keep it respectable.
Hoping the Hogs are a little overconfident, maybe the Rockets can sneak up on 'em.

I was not happy that they kept giving the ball to Remey. But when Jones-Moore got his chances he was fantastic. For a short time as a team I feel we controlled the game. But over all I think we gave them too many chances. If we play to our potential then we have a chance.

UTEP hasn't been relevant since we beat their asses in the GMAC bowl in 2005. Not much to take from their game against Arkansas.

RE: Toledo at Arkansas
I think it may be a long afternoon. Right now Toledo has a brand new O-line, a new kicker, and an inconsistent passing game. I'm hoping our qbs are still intact after this one. A good O-line takes time to gel as a unit. OSU's O-line looked like garbage early on last season, and they went on to win it all. My hope is for the offense to gradually pick up steam and hit NIU and WMU while they are hitting they're stride. If they can do that, they will win it all, and Campbell proves that he can win big games.

I remember soon after the point shaving scandal story first broke, I was reading a discussion thread about it on some college football ball forum and they mentioned that the GMAC Bowl was one game that shaving was alleged. There was some was UTEP fan on the board who posted that "unless they did a very poor job of point shaving, he would have hated to see the final score".
At that time I felt the same way; namely the feds were on a witch hunt to try to shake down some UT players in order to nail their real targets, the Detroit gamblers. However, it did later come out that Broussard's fumble in that game was deliberate and I felt like a fool for having felt bad for him at the time for fumbling on one of the last carries of his long (and I thought successful) career starting out as one of the original Baby Backs in 2002. C'est la vie.

Hi I'm a Razorback fan that lives and is from Little Rock. I can answer any kind of questions you might have whether it be personnel, tailgating in the Rock, or anything else. This is the one game a year we have in Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium, it's a 55,000 seater that will be absolutely a sellout. There will be a gigantic party outside all day in and around the stadium. Usually 70k show up. There's free food a beer all over the place for the nice visiting fan. It's a shame we're both not going to have our best running backs in the game, but I expect an outstanding football game! Woo Pig Sooie!

Will be in Little Rock. Our Alumni Association has a shindig set up at the Armory. Can we park near there and what time should we arrive?

To get decent parking you may want to come before noon definitely. There is a lot of parking closer to the LR zoo that's a 4-5 minute walk from the stadium. If you guys are near the armory just please don't park on the side streets (they love to ticket those). I'll come say hi on Saturday for sure. Don't forget that there's a free Brad Paisley concert after the game. There's gonna be loads of cool stuff to do.

Sounds like Toledo booked into a Bowl game. Jealous of those going. How the heck people can afford? Wish they'd had a couple night bus package for the hoy-polloi and students but we should still have some people there. Go Rockets!

RE: Toledo at Arkansas
Not even one full game into the season and the Rockets are already hurting. According to the Toledo Blade beat writer:
Out - 2 starters (RB, DE) due to suspension
Out - TE Adam Kulon (ACL, out for year)
Out - CB Jordan Martin (leg)
Questionable - RB Terry Swanson
Questionable - CB Trevon Mathis
Questionable - LB Chase Murdock
So that's potentially 5 starters out for the Arkansas game. Our top two running backs. We could be in for a very long afternoon.
