They say there's a lot of drug and sex trade shenanigans going on back in the trails. Is that true? I used to run back there but got uncomfortable with all the shadowy figures lurking in the trees just beyond the paved part. So I changed my routes. But there are a lot of trees that is for sure.

I ride my bike through there weekly. Never have seen anything like that going in in the 11+ yrs I've lived in Midtown.

Therefore, I don't have a need for a green space full of freaks and weirdos. Looking at a house on 4 acres with a pool and a 1 acre stocked pond. Then, I don't even have to share a fishing pond with anyone else.

I was in a spot very eerily similar to yours in Georgia (minus the fishing pond, double the acres of preserve I backed up to). I've also lived in busy urban areas in different parts of the country. There's something to be said for either lifestyle.
