The two officers that were shot and killed. On the left Officer Liquori Tate, 25, of Hattiesburg. A rookie cop whose life dream was to be a policeman.
On the right, Officer Benjamin Deen, 34, of the Sumrall area. Officer Deen was a previous winner of the Officer of the Year and he leaves a wife and two young daughters. Two brave and heroic men. May God Bless their souls and give strength and comfort to their families and friends.

Those arrested for the murders of the two officers Tate and Deen.



Marvin Banks. Charged with two counts of capital murder and a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft.



Curtis Banks. Charged with 2 counts of accessory after the fact of capital murder.



Joanie Calloway charged with 2 counts of capital murder.
