There is holding on every down. If every one of them was called the game would end with a score of 12-10.

I know. it's frustrating. there have been holds galore. I saw another obvious clip on another "phenomenal play" by whats-his-face.
look, when you suck, and you have sucked for a while, and your reputation is for sucking, this is the sh!t that happens.

No.
TD--Cato!
there is a place for him the CFL though I believe.
Chris Carter was only 5'8. I think Shuler will at least get a shot at someone's camp.

C. Carter is 6'3". *Ninja edit* CC said he was 6'3" many times, wiki says 6'2".

Butler scores on an 83 yard run right up the middle untouched.
49-17.

The Butler did it, 83 yd. TD, 49--17 Herd! Decent 3rd string option...

Honestly, I think Butler, might be a little better back than Watson.

Butler is a MUCH better back than Watson. He just struggles with pass protection, which is why he's behind Watson on the depth chart. That and he doesn't always practice up to Docs standards.

Who is it Im thinking of then with the Vikes at the same time of Carter. I know they had a 5'8 possession receiver. Was thinking it was Carter, my apologies to Chris.
TD Butler 83 yrd TD Run...

I think we all believe that, Doc's doghouse is one tough SOB to get out of though it seems. Says he doesn't practice well enough or pick up the blitz very well. I don't care, he's #2 to me, and not much behind the DJ train.

Nice to see us kicking the ball into the back of the endzone again.

You're right that they had a shrimp WR/KR'er that was small like that, but that kid ran a 4.29 ish 40, was a great KR'er but got smashed a couple times and was done. Shuler, although I love his game, isn't fast enough I fear for the NFL. And I believe if someone gives him a shot he could be a good possession/slot guy but w/ his measurables, I don't think he gets a shot.

What about in the CFL? I've heard people mention Cato being a great CFL type QB with his size, so why not Shuler?

I get Doc's standard, you can't afford to have guys giving less than 100% in practice. That said, the coaches should invest a little more time with Butler to get him to work harder, and to read blitz packages so he becomes more valuable to the team and lives up to his full potential as a player.

At any rate he was much taller than 5' 8".. The best short WR I've seen in the last 25 years in the NFL is probably Steve Smith.. I believe he's like 5' 10" or so.
