RE: Winston strikes again
Perhaps Winston will be kept out for even more than one game. This story is building. The mob tastes blood.

RE: Winston strikes again
Someone with inside information used it to put money down on Clemson before the increase in Winston's suspension became public?

He isn't being suspended for an entire game just because of this one "incident" this week.
One doesn't need to break the law/get arrested to be suspended.
Also, looks like FSU's President and AD are the ones who suspended Winston (not Head Coach Jimbo Fisher), as it now looks like Winston lied to them.
Remember, almost 2 years after the fact, FSU is finally investigating the alleged sexual assault by Winston too.
FSU top heads and many of their top alumni/boosters have been embarrassed by Winston's multiple actions over the past 2 years...and FSU's interim President knows that Jimbo Fisher would never ever discipline Winston...so they finally had to act.
Enough was enough.
Again, he isn't soley being suspended for the "one act" this week.

RE: Winston strikes again
Jameis suspended the entire game for lying about parts of the incident in the union. What?! He lied! I'm astounded. I've always believed that he just forgot to pay for the seafood so he told the police when they showed up to his place hours later.

If that is the case then they may be preparing to suspend him for even more games.
Everyone expected them to extend the suspension to the whole game. It isn't gaining them that much more respect because it looks like they simply bended to the pressure.
Further suspension would fully be their "baby" and would indeed gain them some respect.
Interim President has to think about her future opportunities.

Not sure about that. Given the number and severity of Winston's transgressions, he would have been suspended for multiple games by now, if not booted from the team, if powerful FSU boosters and admins actually cared much about anything other than winning another national title.

Will he face further discipline for warming up last night?

It's possible. That was rather disrespectful.

Winston is a very talented moron. He's learned nothing from all his off field troubles. He seems to think that just because he's very talented, he's entitled to do whatever he likes.
If I were Jimbo, I'd sit his butt until he showed some proper contrition, and proved to me that he's learned something worth learning. If Jimbo actually had the guts to do that, it would probably be the last we saw of Jameis Winston. But I bet it will never happen.

RE: Winston strikes again
He just might have learned his lesson. Sitting that game killed him last night. I will say this for him... he probably worked harder on the sidelines than he would have if he had played. One more goof up and he will take the Mizzou/DGB route. We dumped a five star recruit. So can FSU if they care about their reputation.

Yeah, he's an idiot. I don't see how his latest stupidity will be his last. He HAS to know he may be costing himself lots of money.
