Iraq was a massive failure. We shouldn't be obligated to stay there to stop ISIL. Again, root cause!
Too complicated to fit in your Limbaugh narrative I know.

We threw out an oppressive and dangerous government. We drove AlQueda out of Iraq with the surge. We helped install a constitution and free elections. We had won.
In 2006 Bush laid out what would happen if we pulled out of Iraq. Dumb Ol George Bush predicted exactly what has happened.
Obama learned NOTHING from our exit from Europe, Korea, or Japan. He was all about playing to his base, and he pulled a 100% of our forces out. He then caved on threats to Assad and Putin opening the door for every bad actor to run amuck.
Peace through strength isn't always pretty, but it's worked on several occasions. Playing nice with the bad actors of the world has ALWAYS emboldened them.
Barack Obama may be the smartest guy to grace the Oval Office, but as a leader he's weak. Great leaders do what is best for the country. They don't pander to their political base. What could have been a manageable situation with a little leadership is now spiraling out of control.

Obviously it didn't work, or we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Keep selling, no one is buying.

Your doing what you do on the football threads. When you can't add substance you resort to pointless cliches directed at the person you are arguing with, and not at the facts or points that are presented. In debate your style is called fallacies ad hominem. You're the master.
When you can't argue the points you claim the information came from a dubious source, and that source can't be trusted because he once kicked a puppy.....allegedly.
I coached a forensics competition for 7th graders for a couple of years. You wouldn't have made the first cut.

Oh for chits sake, when you are trumped you start attacking style. You have nothing, and I can tell when you're scrambling because your posts get longer and more pointless.
You're getting weak and tired old man, you're losing what touch you had. This is 2014, not 2004.

Listen, you don't have to pepper me with 3000 five word sentences of pointless drivel. We've all seen this routine thousands of times, no need to waste more bandwidth just so you can pad your post count.
When you can write something tangible to the topic give me a holla.

Look, we have all seen how you take an Ann Coulter or Limbaugh diatribe and try to sell it as your own to troll responses, it's sad but it's an over ten year old act and it's wearing thin.
Give it a rest. Get some sleep Dip. You appear tired and redundant.

It was a massive failure. Yes we did throw out an oppressive leader. But then we installed a guy who was just as big of a NUT. And the funny thing is we had intelligence on this character which stated that he might turn against his political enemies and others which eventually could lead to civil war which pretty much happened.
So to we came into Iraq for a pointless war that we LOST. Just to install a new weak government which lead to MORE problems. Can you explain how this was not a failure ?

They installed the government via popular vote, or would you prefer we install a puppet regime? With some stability they may have got it right. But when Captain Surrender sent EVERY SINGLE TOOP HOME that put an end to stability, and now you see the results.

Al-Maliki was our hand picked guy (Bush administration, CIA to be precise). We also closely watched the popular vote meaning that we made sure he wins. He then forces tensions with ISIS. So even though we had intelligence that this guy was a nut we made sure he will be the new prime minister. Another fail by the Bush administration.
Bush and co. got us in this crap in the first place. Obama did the right thing by leaving that country. Our kids were dying in high numbers and we killed a huge amount of civilian population - more than ISIS. And let's not forget about the high money cost of a conflict like that.
I will say that Obama could have forced al-Maliki to leave much sooner than he finally decided that his time was up. Our current administration could have also done more to make sure that ISIS didn't get as much funding and weapons, which would have most likely meant heavy involvement in Syria which also meant making the Russians upset. Who knows how that would have played out ?

They had a vote, Maliki won.
Bush went to Congress for permission go into Iraq. Kerry and Hillary voted YES
Of course they flip flopped when it wasn't politically expedient, but that's what weak kneed leaders do.
Surge worked, Iraq was stable, the Golfer and Chief PULLED EVERY SINGL TROOP OUT, and now he's in a pickle, which is what happens when play politic rather than lead.

If Iraq was stable tell me why then people were dying constantly ? Very interesting definition of stable. Stable country doesn't require military presence from another country. I would argue that Hussein also kept the country stable. He didn't have the ISIS problem.

Why were they dying constantly? They weren't, until our spineless pu$$ifooter and chief removed EVERY SINGLE RESIDUAL FORCE from Iraq and let it get over run by the extremist nuts from ISIS.
Yes, people die when they're held hostage on a mountain until they starve, and yes life comes to a swift end when you're beheaded. But that's what happens when your foreign policy is to walk away from bad actors, and hope they behave themselves "it's the right thing to do."

Where do you get your facts ?
Iraq was more stable before America got there. PERIOD.
In the period of our experiment in Iraq there was around 100,000 civilian deaths. You can add another 25,000 of coalition forces, Iraqi forces, coalition contractors, medical personnel and etc.
So people are dying there now, but they were also dying when we were there. So how's one stability different from the other ?
