We have plenty of extremist kooks killing people around the world for one reason or another, but nothing like ISIL right now, except that mass genocide is happening and has been in Africa and we give two chits about it as a country.

ISIL is an issue because of a few reasons, more that they're strategic targeting a region where there's a lot of oil. So, is anyone going to slow down and realize that they're well funded, and mostly by our supposed allies? That killing is for shock value, today more American people died at the point of handguns in this country, please, some proportion please.

What you're talking about the president doing or not doing is similar to what we have tried since the mid nineties. NOT ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSE.

Tell me who you think are funding ISIL? What do we do about that source of their money? What country are they closest aligned?

Answer or at least attempt to, we're getting somewhere. All the rest is moving chairs around the top deck of the Titanic.

We have a commander and chief whose job is to keep Americans safe.

A month ago he calls ISIS the JV team. A week later Hagle calls ISIS a huge danger. Yesterday the Vice Idiot makes a speech in Detroit that we'll chase ISIS to the depths of hell............although the day before PODUS told us he had no plan on how to deal with them.

Saturday the Commander and Chief tells us he has no plan in place to deal with ISIS. On the Sunday talk shows a general points out that they've been briefing him on ISIS for a year. A year......and no plan?

It's not the job of fat saber rattling white guys to keep our country safe, it starts at the top.

But the guy at the top has checked out unless Belgium, luxenbourgh, and Denmark sign on to his plan........that he doesn't have.

Who is funding them? Probably some wealthy oil guys in Saudia Arabia, Quatar, and some Turkish sympathizers. They helped fund Bin Laden too. Last time Obama visited the Saudies he bowed and kissed their hands. Really paid off

It's not like we need their oil now. We could pressure on them to stop funding ISIS, but it's not in our presidents DNA.

They just performed a mass killing of over 700 Iraqi soldiers too, by no means are they limiting their targets to Americans.

If this group weren't so well armed, funded and organized, they wouldn't be able to pull off these executions, intricate military operations and kidnappings. This isn't a fly by night crew.

So yeah, how about going for the root cause for a change. I'd be up for killing the guy(s) funding them, cut off the head.

To keep chasing these groups around, calling them savages to make ourselves feel better, blame the leader du jor without even acknowledging the reality, that it's bigger than a bunch of armed marauders is a sure recipe for not getting this fixed. I'm hoping to see a coordinated, coalition to do both things, address the root of the problem, and deal with ISIL as well.

Anything else is just a redo of invading Iraq because we were mad at Bin Ladin who was in Pakinstan.

Well then, I guess we do the Obama twiddle your thumbs recipe and wait until something bad happens, and then make an idle threat, but do nothing. And just keep repeating that over and over.

Eventually Belgium and Findland will step up and take care of it for us.

How's the administrations rope-a-dope diplomacy working with Putin? Next stop Kiev, after that Estonia, and on and on.

The war was won in Iraq thanks to Petreus and the surge. All we needed to do was leave a residual force like we did in Japan, Korea, and Europe. But instead he pulls everyone out and the country gets overrun by Islamic extremist who create their own state.

Next Obama does a half azzed surge in Afghanistan, but announces our date of departure at the same time So the Taliban will just wait out that date and we'll get ISUS II in Afghanistan.

Not to worry though. Some other tragic event will occur in this region and he and Biden will talk tough for a day or so, hit the links, do some campaign fund raising, and let Luxenborgh and Greece figure out how to solve it.

Every bad actor in the world is laughing at this guy. Putin in particular mocks him every time he makes one of his idle threats. The other bad actors have taken notice, and they don't fear doing anything. This is where we are.

They may happen, but I guarantee you it's not part of some grand plan. He just wants to set on the sidelines, talk tough, and hope it all goes away.

The grand plan is to sit on the sidelines until a phony coalition can be formed (100 troops from 10 countries, 25000 from the US) to provide political cover. Obama ran on leaving wars, so he can't do anything that looks like he's initiating a war. With a phony coalition he can blame members of the coalition if things go south. If it goes well he can spike the ball into the next two elections. Even he realizes blaming Bush for his screw ups won't play forever, so now he hopes he can blame Luxenbourgh, France, Germany and others. He's an inspiring leader.

Loved it, that's exactly how he got Bin Ladin, by being calculating.

He got Bin Laden after years of intel. He went to the War Room, took a photo op, listened to Biden beg him not to do it (this is true), and then made a politically expedient decision to go ahead with it.

Yep, he got Bin Ladin and claimed it the end of terrorism. Obviously, it was the end of nothing. By pulling every single American out of Iraq we got ISIS. He's not trying to win the hearts and minds in Afghanistan, so why are we still there. He's announced a date we'll leave, and as soon as that happens we'll get ISIS II in Afghanistan.

In one of his most boneheaded discussions he abandons Mubaric and ends up letting the Muslim Brotherhood take over Egypt. Even the Egyptians said, "Hell F'ing no" and threw them out. Kadafi was in our hip pocket after Bush dropped a couple of smart bombs on his son's tent in Libya. So what does Mr. Diplomacy do?
