Jimi was a great guy and an asset to the Memphis music culture. Outstanding singer. But too many people think he originally sang the hit "Eye of the Tiger." It was a hit in 1982 and Jimi didn't join Survivor until 1984. The original singer of "Eye of the Tiger" was David Bickler.

I remember seeing him w/ Target at High Cotton, etc. Saw the launch of their first album at HC. He had a nice career. RIP music man.
