Was a nice little guy. Target, High Cotton days were most excellent. He was first married to a high school friend of mine. Sad news indeed.

Jimi was a great guy and an asset to the Memphis music culture. Outstanding singer. But too many people think he originally sang the hit "Eye of the Tiger." It was a hit in 1982 and Jimi didn't join Survivor until 1984. The original singer of "Eye of the Tiger" was David Bickler.
yeah we know that. but he did sing "eye of the tiger" with the MSOS before a MSU-Louisville game at the coliseum.

The first concert I ever saw (seventh grade at school) was Target. "It's only love" RIP Jimi.
I remember seeing him w/ Target at High Cotton, etc. Saw the launch of their first album at HC. He had a nice career. RIP music man.
