no, wait. let's see if we can drag this thing out until just before election day.

let's do everything we can to try to give this seat to the dems.

Blame Corchoran.

Dont' blame Cochran... (and I would have vote for him out).. blame Haley Barbour's nephew (I think it's nephew), who's the one guilty of the tactics they use.

As I read on a twitter account, people weren't voting for Cochran, they were voting for Haley's nephew when Cochran steps down due to health issues.

I think the governor has to pick Cochran's replacement if Tha can't/doesn't fill out his full term.

I'm just thankful that people other than around Memphis are paying attention to this matter.

The GOP dividing into warring factions of evangelicals, tea party members, and establishment members has nothing to do with democrats...most people I grew up thinking of a republicans are now Libertarian or Indy

Is that why Cochran had to have democrats cross over and win him the runoff? He didn't win the majority of republican votes from what I understand from a news report, don't know it that's true or not.

Yep...and there's nothing illegal about it.

It is, if the voter registered in the Democratic primary to vote. Those are the onliy ones that can be challenged. But how do you _prove_ they voted for Cochran? (I mean we know they did, but knowing and proving are two entirely different things).
