Well, I don't have a link for you, but it is constantly quoted in Dayton, Ohio, that 60% of the population is within a day's driving distance to the US Air Force Museum (at Wright Patterson Air Force Base). That is supposedly part of the reason why they decided to place the museum here.
how fast do you folks drive in ohio? it would suddenly seem to matter.

yes, because the entire country looks just like your backyard 100% of the time.
I have clients in all industries from Connecticut to San Diego, to Florida, to Portland, and everywhere in between.
Pretty much all of them have been exceptionally slow because of the weather this winter except for the heating and cooling guys. They're all busier than they can handle.
My ski shop in Park City is having a damn good year too.
Everyone else? No.
ok, so far we have the weather memories of 20% of the population, and your client base.
they're hiring construction guys like crazy across the street from me, and it was 70 degrees yesterday. I don't understand why unemployment isn't at 5%
Considering that I have clients that are in a variety of areas around the country in a number of different industries, and most of them have dozens of competitors in their markets, it's a pretty good sample to pull conclusions from.
Is it conclusive? Of course not, but I get to see and hear insights from a lot of different industries every day because of the nature of my work. Just sharing my perspective from what I've been told by clients.
