We will have to win out to really get a sniff at the Top 25

USM has challenging games coming up. I know MT will be ready to play at home against the Eagles, and we should have a large crowd, as our fans tend to show up right at the very end of the season...

Also, WTF how is UNC getting votes ?!? Even if it is one UM beat them earlier this year - they are NOT top twenty-five material...

No doubt. Still some difficult games left. Just wish y'all had better RPIs because if we lose one.....we can pretty much kiss an at-large goodbye.

MT's RPI isn't bad considering we've got 7 losses. It's around 89th right now. Say we win the rest but lose to Louisiana Tech, then we're about 59th. If we win out, it's up to 49th. If we are USM's only loss, the Eagles' RPI is projected to be 27th, which I'd imagine is still good enough for an at-large. (From RPIForecast.com)

They have 4 top 50 wins. Their SOS is 23. They have been on a tear since a really crappy 5 game stretch? I'm not really sure what you're looking for. 4-3 vs the top 50 with wins at MSU and over Louisville and Kentucky is more than most teams can say. They have 2 really crappy losses, but overall the resume is pretty solid. I don't hear anybody complaining about Iowa and Michigan being ranked. And I see UNC having 1 vote in the AP poll this week. Not too much to be upset about there.
