I hope UAB at least interviews Terry Bowden. I don't know whether we would have the appeal or package to be able to get him from Akron or not.

I suspect they have gauged his interest in the past and moved on.

I was shown communication from boosters to his camp back when Callaway was fired that indicated he was interested in the job, but I don't know if he was ever contacted.

I guess hiring a coach who has had an extramarital affair with a reporter is better than hiring one who got a cheerleader pregnant, but IWW can do better, I hope.

He did a good job at Arkansas (for the most part)..........had 2 good seasons at Ole Miss, then totally tanked there. He always had a strong running game though.

I like Houston Nutt, but I'm not sure I'm sold on him taking over here. I'll need to study his background a little more. He has the name for sure. I don't like the way things ended at Ole Miss once he lost coach Os recruits, and had to coach his own. It didn't end well at Arkansas either.

This isn't meant to be disrespectful. How do y'all think we'll do with watts rather than garrison being in on the HC hire this time around? He may have quite a few big names running through his mind to discuss with mackin.

I hope Watts leads the search, and over rules any bright ideas from mackin. 05-stirthepot
