I really don't like the design of Tulane's stadium. I know they didn't have much to work with considering the location, but it just looks weird to me. Not a fan.

Those are some nice chair back seats at the top of the lower section.

yeah i'm looking forward to those. As long as the cost isn't too crazy I'm planning on moving my seats over there. Supposed to have TV's, fans, wifi, seperate food area just for those seats.
(that's if I'm remembering the marketing material correctly)

I am really interested to learn what the seating arrangement will be next year and what (if any) pricing changes are made. Another question for TK.

GPC I think those are the old renderings. The seating will be the same, but the FOC has changed a little. see the original post.

Ok, dude here is the deal. I live about fifteen minutes away, and it is on my way to a couple of things I need to do, so I went by a couple of times, and it is pretty much as I said, not as nice as GaSouthern.
I appreciate your taking up for a fellow AAC member. The member that broke the Big East apart with all their value. The last straw.
And I understand you being glad that there is an AAC member you will beat on a regular basis, because except for basketball Memphis State will get drilled on a regular basis.

With our last home game against Western Carolina completed, construction on the mid-deck seating has "re-opened" until it's complete sometime right before 2014 Spring Graduation.

The C7 leaving was a direct result of Louisville, and Rutgers leaving...at that point it wasn't a conference they recognized anymore...I really don't blame them...from 2003-2013 the BE was radically changed.
As for Tulane...it's an amazing academic institution in a great city that's building a really, really nice stadium...70 million for a 27,000 seat stadium will make it VERY nice...they also have outstanding baseball.
I can't wait to see a game there.

remember when they were just moving dirt. Really can't wait to see the 2nd tier go up. Will be really neat to see the time-lapse on the construction (hopefully we don't see 10seconds of nothing when the cameras were down :)

RE: Latest Paulson Stadium Renderings
Stadium renovation and construction topics always interest me. I know WKU's attendance doesn't warrant another expansion yet, but I can't wait for the day we drop an upper deck on the new side and close in Ave. of Champions side for a real stadium feel. If I remember correctly, our stadium was designed to go up to 45k max, but I don't know if we ever go that far. I could see us expanding to close to 40k in the next 5-10 years if the program can maintain any semblance of success.
Back on topic, I like GaSo's stadium reno to this point, and I also think that Tulane played it smart with their stadium size. Don't over build. The only negative for Tulane is that the new stadium is going to be too small to keep the New Orleans bowl in town (in my opinion).

The New Orleans Bowl should stay at the Dome I would believe. If Tulane builds a stadium that holds more then 300, they have over built.

The FOC is going to be 50,000 sq ft.
I'm pretty sure with the design changes the FOC is now above 60k sq/ft.

I would think the Dome is a better location as well, but there is some question about that happening.

In one of TK's "Ask TK" segments he squashed that rumor. The FOC is still 50,000 sq ft.
