If we can get Mike O'Cain as an OC and Hal Mumme to express interests as an OC and Liberty can get Turner Gill as a head coach...I think we can probably get something pretty good.

It's unfortunate to have to let Mickey go, but the product on the field had been too subpar since 2009 to justify keeping him. It's not like we didn't have talent either. Game in and game out we kept seeing the same mistakes and same frustrating brand of football that was just NOT working after Landers left.

I hope Mickey gets a good job somewhere. Not sure if he wants to be a Head Coach right away (or ever again), but I can definitely see a lower level FBS team wanting him as a DC.

Mickey had more than enough opportunities to redeem himself. There is no excuse for us not to make the playoffs last year and this year. Mickey, finally got fired for doing less with more.

yep, and SDSU just beat Boise Saturday.

the only loss they have is to undefeated FBS Northern Illinois...by 4 points.

i picked them to win the title in the playoffs.
