It's not just the website. It's millions of Americans losing their coverage. It's premiums and deductibles soaring. Obama's blatant lies about the ACA are now out in the open. There is no way to spin it or downplay the damage. As I repeatedly predicted, those thinking the GOP would take the major blow from the shutdown are about to feast on a big plate of crow
There just isn't anyway to deny it at this point. Those on the left are in awe as they watch it all fall apart right in front of them. Those in the middle aren't ready to admit they were wrong.
So what you are saying is that you needed the Democrats to fail rather than the GOP to improve in order to win in 2014?
The lesser of two evils again I guess.
The American people must be proud.
The Democrats control two of the three wheels. Trying to block Obamacare was a win.

You may be right but if I understand you correctly, you are saying that the GOP will win in 2014 not because they came up with any solutions but simply because the Democrats failed.
Don't you think we deserve better than that?
I mean rather than simply hoping that the other side fails, shouldn't we start demanding solutions?

what exactly has the RNC failed at? Just curious. Failed at stopping the Obama regime when they control one of the three wheels? Failed at stopping the debt ceiling increase when they control one of three wheels. Let's not pretend the RNC has any real control at the moment. It is the DNC and only the DNC taking us down this path.
It's time to face the music. The Democrats stand for failure. It's not "Congress, or both parties." It's Democrats. Obamacare was a huge wakeup call and there isn't any way to spin it away.

What you don't seem to get is the magnitude of what Obamacare is. What you don't seem to get is why 2010 happened and how it will happen again....this time on a much bigger scale.
Do you really think the millennials are going to save the day in state elections across the nation? Are you really so dense to assume people give two chits about the shutdown? My God dude. It's not one in the same.
Messing with people's health care is on another level.
Damn you sure read a whole lot of something I didn't write.
It's what you insinuate. You remind me of Doug Schoen. Naysayer - nothing we can do.
Shall we revisit the reason the DNC took such a beating in the 2010 midterms?

You inferred. I didn't imply.
Your problem, not mine.

I submit that the Dumbocrats agenda cannot survive. They overplayed their hand. They succumbed to their own ambition for greed and power. The GOP had no part in this demise. They are too stupid to lay a trap such as this.

RE: It's doubtful the Obama admin can survive
There is nothing worse than a "solution" in search of a problem.
Want to allow for preexisting? Fine pass that. Want to keep your moron son on your own policy until he's practically middle age? Fine pass that. Want to end the lifetime caps? fine pass that. Whatever else.
this could have and should have been a 4 page bill. But no, instead it is step one on the path to a government take over of our Health care system. So it has to be massive so as to obfuscate the real intent and insuring it's "too big and fails".
There was no need whatsoever for this monstrosity. it's most certainly no "solution".

I guess at this point, you have to ask yourself. Are you among the 40 percent of Americans who still approve of Obama's job performance? That number will break the 30 percentile within a week. You are in a sinking ship and the hull breach is taking on more water.

But I do think eventually the truth will prevail, and people will see Obama as a socialist/communist who damn near destroyed us. I just hope there's enough left to be worth saving when that realization hits.
What concerns me is that we will keep floundering from one extreme to the other because neither party seems capable of fielding a candidate who represents the majority of us. As long as we get candidates from the 20-25% fringe of either party, we're in trouble.
I think the final nail has been driven. You cannot judge both parties when one party has been in control Washington for five years. You have repeatedly tried to pain both parties with one brush, while both parties are complete polar opposites - hence the filibuster - then the shutdown = all the blaming the GOP. Who's holding the stink bag now?
No, they're not polar opposites and that's the damn problem. They both agree on big government, just disagree on what for. They both agree tat rights need to be taken away from citizens, just differ on which rights. They're both fine with tax and regulatory systems that drive investment offshore, because by keeping things draconian for those who don't have special privileges, they can enhance their own power and prestige as the gatekeepers for the special privileges.
I usually hope republicans win, as the lesser of two evils. But the lesser of two evils is still pretty evil. And republicans have proved quite adept at screwing things up. Not quite on the scale of Obamacare, which is threatening to be FUBAR beyond all FUBAR. But way too often.
This. Only those not paying attention believe one gang is much different than the other.

I believe the president is a fine man, a decent president and a man that shuns leadership to the extreme that his effectiveness has and will continue to be compromised.
I also believe he would trounce Mitt Romney or any of the 2012 field if the election were held today.

Why is Obama a fine man when he lied to Americans at least 30 times, is covering up Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the DoJ fiasco, and has a war on reporters? Nixon is considered the epitome of a bad president and he never hurt Americans, he just lied to them about things that had no bearing on their lives.
