CAA this week heavy on Patriot league matchups.

Hampton visiting ODU. ODU also played NSU a couple times lately. Anyone know if there is a decent payout for this? For purposes of local interest, I imagine theyd look to get us on the schedule as well, but doubt that we will oblige in the current conference alignment. Im sure theyre terrified of JMU.
SBU beat our next opponent, Colgate, 24-3.

It’s also a year when Navy might wish they were playing Patriot League football. They hung three on Air Force yesterday in a game where uniforms were the only highlights. There might not be a W on Navy’s schedule.

Navy's OC was fired post game

Navy had one single 1st down after three quarters. As bad as that was, Air Force only had 9 by then. I joked with my Brother in law that it seemed like Navy had a playbook limited to 5 plays. He said it appeared Air Force had stolen it and were using the same playbook.

Worth noting on a beautiful day in Annapolis, a néw attendance record was set at the Navy stadium, just under 37,000. Tailgating there is epic as some may know. Nothing about the great atmosphere in Annapolis yesterday would resemble the Patriot League much less Williamsburg.
Talk about dysfunctional! Navy OC was fired by the AD - NOT by the HC.

And now the former OC has been reinstated as the QB coach.
Lafayette with the early 7-0 lead on New Hampshire heading into the 2nd quarter.
Syracuse seems to be scoring at will, up 45-10 over UAlbany at HT.
Richmond didn't even score in the 1st Half, against Villanova, but has scored twice in the first 2:30 of the 2nd Half to take a 14-13 lead.

Ivy League willing to travel as far south as DC, Harvard win at Georgetown, and Lexington, VMI win over Cornell.
Richmond, after going scoreless in the 1st half, scores 27 unanswered points to take a commanding 27-13 lead on Villanova with nine minutes left in the game, only to have Daniel Smith put Villanova on his back to tie it up with 2 minutes left. Villanova has the ball back with 1:41 left.
Villanova with a 47 yard TD pass by Smith to give them the lead inside 40 seconds. Daniel Smith with a CAA POY performance, as well as, putting him squarely in the Walter Payton POY conversation.
Villanova wins, 34-27. Unsportsmanlike conduct by a Richmond player late in the game really cost them. Undisciplined penalties lose games for you, Tribe players! It can, also, contribute to your HC being on the hot seat, as Huesman is.
UNH struggled vs Lafayette. Down 6-7 at halftime.

Richmond didn't score in the 1st Quarter, but is now tied with Tech 7-7, in the 2nd.
Pitt 35-7 over UNH with 11 minutes left in 2nd quarter.
UNH having what you never want to happen against a FCS team, 70-7 end of the 3rd.
Looks like Narduzzi just doesn’t like the CAA lol, 77-7.
VMI over Wofford. Incredible assent by the Cadets.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Shon Mitchell went 4 of 9 for 37 yards
